Anyone on Mac (mojave) that can help me? I have patched the .dlls in the keygen, but when i open Omnisphere I get a message that says:
"Unable to access plugin folder at /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/STEAM/Omnisphere. Check folder permissions."
I get the black screen too, but when I press OK on the pop up the black screen disappears and becomes the authorization screen.
I may have made the mistake that I extracted the Omnisphere Software Update.pkg before I patched the .dlls, if that is the problem, how do I fix it?

For anyone that is getting the “omnisphere unable to access the plugin folder... ...check permissions” error: I had this issue after following The Pitate’s instructions. The reason was because the ‘STEAM’ folder shortcut I made was named “STEAM - Shortcut” in my omnisphere folder by default. I renamed it to just say “STEAM” which resolved the issue, I spent ages trying to figure out why it wasn’t working so I hope this will help many of you out! Also thanks to The Pirate for uploading this crack/keygen!

I am new to this platform and I can't find where I can start a new discussion so that is why I am replying on this one. I am also working on getting Omnisphere working on my MBP (macOS Catalina). But I am stuck at step 6 (STEP 6(a). Unzip Step 6 archive and Run as administrator the KeyGen.exe and PATCH the Omnisphere dlls in your VST folder and in C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\plug-ins\64bit. Close the keygen .)
I don't know where I can find this Omnisphere dlls file on my Mac.

I anyone can help me!

 

@LargeyUK You' re welcome, however, what you stated is partially incorrect. I will explain it to avoid confusions.

As you correctly stated, the shortcut MUST be named STEAM. With that said, if you have a shortcut improperly named "STEAM-Shortcut" when you first open Omnisphere you are NOT going to get an error stating "Omnisphere unable to access the plugin folder... ...check permissions." You will get a message stating "STEAM folder not found. Would you like to locate it."

If you click "OK" and proceed to point Omnisphere to the STEAM folder, you will get a confirmation message stating: Link successfully created. Restart your host application to begin using this STEAM folder.
At this point, you have two choices: to close Omnisphere (using the Task Manager) or to continue by clicking "OK"

If you choose to continue without restarting Omnisphere or your DAW, you will receive 3 successive messages stating as follows:

1.The STEAM folder does not have write permission. try running as administrator.
2. STEAM folder is not writable.
3. Cannot load Multi data because it is corrupted (either from song or from multi file). Try loading another Multi from the Multi browser.
After these successive messages Omnisphere will open up without further messages (assuming that it is up- to-date and your STEAM is not corrupted) If the browser is empty, close it and restart it.

In sum, the message error you received "Omnisphere unable to access the plugin folder... ...check permissions" had NOTHING to do with the shortcut's name. It is the result of your failure to run Omnisphere as Administrator and/or lack of permissions to its folders. Hello, Pirate. Im new to cracking software but anyway I cracked omnisphere and have it installed but the r2r keygen doesn't work and i did read somewhere that you need to patch the dll files? Now the question is HOW do I patch a dll file i cant find tutorials about it nowhere and I would really like to have omni. Can you please help me?

Stop lying to us vro! You did not crack Omnisphere. Omnisphere cracked you so bad you had to come here requesting help. To patch, open KG as administrato. Click on "patch" and look for Omnisphere dll in vst folder and in the C:\Data Program\Spectrasonics\plugins\64Bit.

Hey Pirate i installed as per instructions- all steps , able to extract 15 rar archives and from them iso file , mounted it using ultraiso, extracted the steam folder , copied the steam folder shortcut to installation dir , patched Dll and keygened plugin , all working fine , it loads as normal , problem is its not loading every few sounds and its happing many time , i refreshed patch and multi browser , also recreated index and zmap files, i request you to please please upload crc32 of files the omnisphere library so that one can know which file is corrupt or missing.

in case of bad crc32 winrar (or other software using unrar library) will show you message about this problem. you can't unrar files with bad crc32 (you can "dump" part of code but all unknown code will be nopped, you can't use this file). so... list with crc32 of files absolutely useless.

 

Hey , I appreciate your time and energy , plz understand i am asking for crc32 of extracted library folder for diagnostic purpose, like if you see there is no distortion 01.db file file in iso file in soundsource/factory/distortion.
But distortion02.db is present, it mean either ist file is missing in rip or by default.

If we had crc32 of default version we can be ascertain for our omnisphere library integrity.

So if some patches/ multies not working we can be ascertain that our library is intact or currupted.

ok, you don't know what is a checksum and you don't know how it's working.
iso (as other disc image formats) is a digital copy of a physical disc. simple dump of all information (including empty space) and saved as digital code. image - is like a clone of a disc.
so... if you "lost" some bytes you can't read image. understand? if you can’t see some files in the disk image, it means they weren’t on the original disk. or these files was blocked by your antivirus software.

 

I hope one day you will understand. I was like you few decades back.
Anyway the iso the Pirate has uploaded is not actual iso its just a folder in iso format, sometime creating a custom iso misses hidden or system files. I appreciate Pirate for this , but its not the default omni he has added huge number of other small libraries.which can also be uploaded as seprate upload , for more easy omni life.
For your curiosity use hex edit and edit few bits of anyfile , you can still open and extract.
You may aslo go to homepage of onni they have listed every presets , its not like they will forget to include , but for information purpose.
I beleive you may think now more clearly with your shades down there is no darkness in room.

With folder crc32 i mean checksum of files it contains.
Also there are tools to crc32 entire files and sumup to make a single crc32 code for the folder.
