Bro this guy is new but he has asked the same question 2 or 3 times today. The problem is not going to be the size of the STEAM folder per se, the problem could be the size of the Keyboards folder inside C: Program Data\Spectrasonics\ STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library\. There could be other instruments in the STEAM folder missing files that have nothing to do with the specific issue @thebluprnt is having. I said could be because the problem can be related to the source of the release. Always treat the Omnisphere and Keyscape STEAMS separate when trying to diagnose zmap.index problems.

I know I did the full install so my keyscape is 72.1 GB.. I feel stupid I brought both programs from Guitar Center and they don’t work...

 

I tried the whole delete zmap and update.. still nothing... I see the file extensions in the keyscape steam folder but idk

Deleting all sorts of zmap index files seemed to fix all my problems I had. At least I can access more presets now.

yes, if you are having the same problem as others on this thread, read the previous two pages of this thread.

then do a search of the forum for other omnisphere threads. there are literally hundreds of people asking the same questions over and over.

 

I solved the problem... I erased ALL the .index files from the STEAM folder and let Omnisphere rebuild the indexes itself. The prt_omn, the zmap, the mlt_omn, the prt_key, the mlt_trl, the prt_trl. All deleted. Works smooth as a baby's butt now.
