What should be the full size of the core library after install? I have 57gb

 

Num factory soundsources = 4,898
total size of factory soundsource DBs = 57,451,914,194
Num of factory patches = 7,542
total size of factory patch DBs = 251,021,394

Assuming FRESH installation, no Trilian, no Bob Moog Tribute Library, no addon patch, no personal patch... Values on my PC, not sure they're same values on MacOS X...

 

So 57gb sounds about right then. Thanks bro

I did step two with no problems, im gonna try installing it on my laptop win 7

 

I have 59gb with Bob moog.

The only thing now is that if you have loads of effects on a patch it will bring my system to its knees. However using outboard fx chains is the way to go methinks apart from a few of those new units in the omni fx rack which are fucking excellent and difficult to replicate elsewhere.

I have this issue.

I have tried several things with no luck.

Num factory soundsources = 5,123
total size of factory soundsource DBs = 59,857,926,155
Num of factory patches = 9,956
total size of factory patch DBs = 522,307,751
I have moog trilogy bass legends etc installed.
followed all steps for installing.

I tried reinstall waiting for each disc request. I tried installing into fresh steam folder.
I have been through all dvds & they all match content in steam.
Have tried downloading proper dvds that have been posted.

swaggering around patch does not load, reason is i only have basic wavetables that are in version 1 not the 400+. Also many patches that use the wavetables i get error 'error loading waveform'

This is the main issue for me.

sound source buenos aires is missing as are a few others. 'boys choir works for me'

If anybody has a working wavetable file i would be interestested if it fixed the 'error loading waveform'
In wavetable folder there is ~BundleArchives.db date stamped 15/12/2014 & ~BundleArchives folder date 19/06/15 but this folder is empty.

 

Seeing all of these numbers helped. I went back to manually copy files from the DVDs to my STEAM folder and found that dreaded error code -36. Some files were apparently not copied during the install. And, I kept getting error messages during the install saying something wasn't copied. But, the install process continued. So, I was wondering what would happen. After finding that Omnisphere couldn't load due to corrupted files, I went searching. Thanks for all of your help.

I can't use the files from the DVDs. Since the files cannot be copied, I may have to re-DL the DVDs. Maybe that will help someone else.

To Fix This you have to copy the ~Bundlearchives.db fILE FROM THE FIRST DISC .Just extract that file in Wavetables folder and you are ready to go..Problem fixed,...............................

I know it's been a while since anyone posted here.. but.. hopefully someone will see this.

I switched computers and now I'm on a mac running High Sierra.
I got Omni 2.0.3 installed but the installer didn't ask for the ISO D1-D8 so I just moved on to the data updater and then copied the STEAM folder to the library/application support/Spectrasonics/
I currently have Omni working but I seem to be missing some patches.. I attached a screenshot of my diagnostics and judging from some pics in this thread I have the right amount of factory soundsources and soundsource DBs but i'm lacking in the factory patches and factory DBs but a little bit...

I'm trying to recall a beat and of course the couple sounds I have to bring up are part of the bunch I'm missing... I know that the sound titled "Flying Wings Of Love" was always first on my old computer and the sound I used in this particular beat and need to recall it..
I attached a screenshot of the diagnostics but also a pic of the presets I have installed. Flying Wings of Love isn't first as you can see.

Any ideas? Maybe I missed some stuff copied into the STEAM folder I'm checking that now. Just wondered if anyone could help?

Figured it out... Duh I recopied all the files from STEAM and now it's working! Yessss!!!

Now to get 2.5 software and patches working... How easy is that one?

 

Sorry maybe for asking here, but is there a way i could install Omnisphere without the library? Just the vst.
