Hey guys

So the drama is I have everything neatly installed on El Capitan, enter the correct Challenge code and can use Omnisphere no problems...

...but when I reboot Ableton, it asks me for the authorization again

As you can imagine, this is ridiculously annoying having to input the same code over and over again and it won't save any of my presets

I've scoured the inter webs for the past few hours and can't find any resolution, so I was hoping someone on here would have a clue or two

Awesome, I guess everyone else who grabbed it from the sister site ended up doing the same thing

 

There are several keygen. Try the latest. But you must first patch the dll that are in your folder "VstPlugins". Then you can generate the challenge code with the same keygen. Try with this one:

From a Audionews user:
1-use batchmod to change prefs on omnisphere.component after you installed the update (make sure you have apply to folders etc. checked)
2-open up the patch by R2R with crossover
3-click patch and go to macintosh hd/libraries/audio/plug-ins/components/omnisphere.component/contents/macOS/omnisphere
patch it
that’s what worked for me on mac os 10.10.5 Yosemite

Unfortunately I ended up with the same result. I don't think the problem is authorization, that works every time.

It's just upon restarting Ableton it doesn't seem to remember being authorized and keeps asking for the response from the challenge code. I know it's something obvious, i just don't have the cyber smarts (as Trump would put it) to work out make Omnisphere remember it's already been authorized

Bloody frustrating!

It's weird. Whenever I see a problem is with Ableton.

Remember: But you must first patch the dll that are in your folder "VstPlugins".

 

I can't believe how many angles i've come at this. it's crazy that i can't even find one other instance of this on the net. i've never encountered this with another plug-in before

I definitely patched the dll in VSTPlugins, you can't even get it to recognize the activation without patching both that and the component


i even did an fresh re-install of everything from the ground up...same result...bugger!

 

Delet all dll or audio unit from Omnisphere and install this version: Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.3.0h Software Update
.
Patch first and authorize.
If it still does not work
I've installed on PC: Convert.dll_to_audio_unit
I will try to convert my dll already pre-patched to audio unit. We'll see if it works.
We will ultimately find a solution because nothing is impossible.

That did the trick

Even though I thought I was deleting everything, this time I hit it with the CC, reboot, used your above method and BAM!

Omnisphere 2.3 with all the banks are a go
