I had problems with AU in Logic but solved using VST in Cubase...

 

Sorry for confusion. I know in the first post it was stated only 264 so I should rather point that out every post. I don't have the 264 installed, never did. But that exact issue is happening with my 263.

I guess the second dll comes from the updates after pirates release, the 263 R2R I did. Weird thing about error when RSA patching. Because I can patch the other successfully patched ones again and again without error. (I'd say my omni was rather clean, just pirates release incl. updates to 262, then R2R 263, never un- nor reinstalled.

Do you guys with the same issues have some of these plugs installed and maybe even running the same project (even though I don't understand how the connection from omni patch issue would be)?

- Liquidsonics Lustrous plates (is on the mix bus where that omni is), known issues in the other thread. Same issue here but mine seemed to be stable when GUI window is not changing from visible to unvisible. Yesterday I noticed that I have unexpected silence on the mixbus suddenly. When "CTRL-H" in FL to stop all audio, then playback again, sound works so far.
- Komplete Kontrol (actually have the hardware, whenever FL crashes recently, the KONTROL KEYBOARD seems stuck with crashed process and PC restart is necessary)
- Tone2 Electra 2.7x (never had issues with that, but guess what, yesterday I opened up a project with 3 electra instances, 1 was on init (so the very same looking issue as with Omni of a losing a saved patch)
(FL last R2R release by the way)

 

I just went back to version 2.3.2f I had for years without issues. I'll wait until something comes up.

 

@MikewithHeart sounds like memory conflict is happening did this problem arises after you install liquiqsonic?

 

I've had this problem since the first day of omnisphere. Remove it, save some space on hard drive. Only legit users figured it out through support section.

If you are looking for cinematic synth sounds, Zebra is your friend and most don't even notice what synth you have used. I am not pro expert producer, but for example I made this almost entirely with zebra plugins.

 

FL instability just arose recently. After the New Year Update. When crashed Komplete Kontrol hangs, which might not be the root. Indeed have the Lustrous Plates cause issues, and had a couple of crashes with a project that contain Lustrous on two different mix busses. Yesterday I removed the Lustrous Plate from that project and had no crash and no hanging Komplete Kontrol.

Appreciate your advice on utilizing other synths. Zebra is a great synth. And Omnisphere - as many other synths - has its place for a reason. I rather not turn away just because of this, when I can work with it quite easily having a pen and paper at the desk and writing down a patch name (of course bouncing out also is an option for the less skilled writers among us).

Can you provide a source to your thesis of "only legit users figured it out"? How do you explain users here not having any issues (with this 264 version, with prior releases)? Did they just not notice the errors?

I've noticed this in Trilian since the 1.5.0d Update.

The issue for me is that a patch will re-load in a saved DAW project as a blank patch, like this:

This was the "Retro Game" factory patch when I saved this Ableton Live project.

It doesn't show up until you re-load the project though. I can even continue working on the track saving multiple iterations, but upon re-loading the project all of the Trilian parts will be blank from a certain save-point onward (if the issue is present in the save).

It seems to happen randomly, but early (maybe upon first save with Trilian loaded) within a project. But as I mentioned, it will carry over to each save until you re-load and notice it. I've been hesitant to re-save older projects since noticing the issue, so I can't say if/how it could affect them, but I'd suggest making a project backup before doing so.

Also, am I imagining things or is the GUI of both Omnisphere (2.6.4c) and Trilian (1.5.0d) laggy in these latest updates? I know Trilian had a GUI overhaul updating it to High Resolution, but Omnisphere has looked the same for a while and I don't remember so much lag just clicking around the interface. I'm noticing a brief but obvious delay in instrument images loading and a big delay in clicking the 1-8 instrument tabs even if nothing loaded in them. Maybe it was always like that, but I just don't remember it? (Installed on SSD)

(I don't currently have Keyscape installed, so I can't comment on that at all.)

Waiting for 2.6.4d software. Patch going away everytime

 

Is it possible to install Keyscape/Trilian/Stylus from the sister site, beside a legit version of Omnisphere?
If so, what steps to follow to achieve a problem-free install?
I'm on Windows 10 b.t.w.

 

Guys I have the factory 8 DVD set. Can I apply the
Omnisphere2.Software.update.2.6.4d over that or do I need all the many other updates?

by using the "TakeOwnershipEx" https://winaero.com/takeownershipex/and applying it to two directories the recall problem seems to have been solved.
I applied in the following directories:
* c:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics
* the Steam folder
after that, go to the properties of the two directories, uncheck read only and press OK.
I`ll open my DAW tomorrow again to make sure all is fine.

Supposedly Spectrasonics is telling registered customers to delete the Spectrasonics .plist files on a mac and reauthorize to fix these issues when they happen to legit customers.
This works for me for a while. Then for whatever reason the issue returns.
Given this, I cant see -any way the issue inst in the .plist keys.

Has anyone tried making copies of the keys after an install and simply replacing those keys when the issue pops up?
i would think Legit customers experiencing this means its a timebomb or possibly triggered upon a system restore to keep time machine or carbon copy images from being used to distribute perfect images of the working software.

i did not do it for me..
the strange thing is even after applied takeownership for the two folders and then unchecked read only and pressed ok..
when i right clicked on the folders after i have done so read only was checked again..
the files in the folders seem not to be write protected however.

This is really disturbing as it seems to happen to legit customers too, honestly it seems like a pretty severe bug to happen for such a prestigious flagship kind of software, considering how much of a reputations as a sound designer's dream this has.

 

This track was made a year an half ago and is apart of my private stock I'm going to use for a personal career (hip-hop Trap) based.
This problem only came about when I started clicking into the multi window.... Never happened before venturing into that menu...

This recall problem happened today, I have 2.6.4 The Pirate's version which doesnt matter, as it happens in legit copy.
As soon as I realized it will not recall sounds/patches I chose I got nervous. Because I have 100's of beats/projects I made from scratch with omnisphere. And much like the problem the guy with the Trillian Screenshot posted, it doesn't show folder information via the first directory window.

Now here's a project I made today (the melody) and it won't recall the patch.

I had the most perfect sounding bell as opposed to the muddy garbage you hear. I've had a lot of problems with Omnisphere especially because of sub par cracking instructions that are vague. Again me saying this for the 3rd time. This only came about when I started clicking things I shouldn't have. I'm on a 16 GB ram UEFI older MOBO where I rewrote the bios to accept M.2 NVME boot drive, should be fast. It's not atleast it doesn't clip with 8 omnispheres, 4 Kontakts an 4 arcade windows open. But as you saw that load time though... Usually it's instant.

I hope to find a remedy to mitigate this issue because in my mind I create masterpieces. There's always the option of buying it, I will after a certain point. I just wish it wasn't so flexible.

 

I made 3 melodies since posting last, none will recall patch I used in Omnisphere. I'll try take ownership but I don't think that's going to help

I don't think is going to do the trick, but will be grateful if it does. IT's going to take a while cause my steam folder is larger than normal.

Ohh dear lord I think I made things worse doing that.


Hold on....... I was able to make a would be scribble melody, save the FLP and and it recalled the third party patch. Right now I'm refreshing the multi browser.

I think this fixed it... Now I just have to wait 3 hours for the library to refresh from hitting the button

10 minutes later:

This is something within the version itself, because it recalled third party patches I made, loaded, used in older version. I'm still waiting for the multi browser to refresh... But when the problem happened it was able to recall third party plugins made from older cracked releases. The problem lays in the update it self.

I'm still waiting for it to update the directory. Today when this non-recall happened Omnisphere went into live mode which I don't know why. As said before this only happened when I changed a patch in the multi browser, I didn't know what I was doing. And this take ownership exe went right to the problem. I"m going back to the problematic FL project, reloading a guitar I'll spend 20 minutes tweaking and the bell one and see if indeed it can recall.

5 minutes later:
Refreshed, loaded problematic project, after refreshing in multi browser and when loaded non recall patch to tweak and hopefully save and have it recall, asked to reload multi browser once again....

Just to be sure opened the main desktop version of Omni, and it asks to refresh multi browser once again. I'll do it and wait for everything to load. Ex out of FL studio, open the problem FLP, change the guitar save it and reload and hopefully the message doesnt pop up, however I'll take this message starting every time I open omnisphere in exchange for patches not properly loading....

yea it recalls all,only suck part can't import wav files that just got encoded to pcm in omnisphere, that's just me venting it's not from the exe I ran to fix the directories. Neway it recalls but requires me to refresh browser every session. Oh well, that's the price.

What I noticed when I put Steam folder on another drive... It became 10 x slower and I'm using a PNY External HD... my m.2 on this UEFI has 1900+mbps writing speeds. But this is so slow to point I don't want to even use it anymore and am thinking about putting it back on boot drive.
