Hi there everyone. Firstly I'd like to say that I've been searching the forum for the topic so if I've missed it and opened new one - I'm sorry in advance , please don't tear my head off and share link to the thread with me and I'll close this one.

    Now to the question itself:
I've downloaded omnisphere 2.5 for mac -> installed -> but then could not patch it with keygen OSX.(simply says failed to patch -> I might be patching different file -> tried multiple times with different files) (R2R version from vstcrack)
the video on the page on how to install omnisphere is for an older version (2.0) with different installer so its not really helping me. Everytime I try to patch the file it gives me error.

I'm quite new to doing these things on a mac but I know about hidden library folders and all the basics so it shouldn't be very hard to guide me (or ask for additional info if I'm not being clear enough).
Yes I know where the STEAM folder should go, the patch is the only problem basically. (If you're familier with the 2.5 installer the only problem I have is in step 2)

I've tried searching on many forums but everyone shared info only about version 2.0. which the video explains step by step (could not find version 2.0 for download so alternatively you might link me that?)
(I think it's very trivial mistake I'm doing /and not seeing/ somewhere along the process)

Is there someone who managed to do it and would be so nice to help me?

Thank you all in advance and I wish you a nice day.

Thank you all for quick answer -> I've figured it all out except now when I'm trying to run omnisphere It can't find the steam folder (despite me copying it where it belongs (app support)) . Manually trying to locate it results in message stating that its not proper steam folder which is rather strange. (when I try to turn it off the message keeps popping and it says I don't have right permission and to make sure that all STEAM folder and its subfolders have WRITE permission (they all do so I don't know how to proceed next

That is what I had to do use permission reset then find the VST when prompted find it patch it might take a few times and kind of get where to find it at and all that kind of stuff but you have to do a permissions reset like he said else it will not patch when I tried it kept saying that I don't have permissions Apache or something like that and then I do the permission reset and work like a charm only on the VST though I can't figure out how to do it on the standalone

Currently I have it all done - my last problem is that the software does not accept STEAM folder as the STEAM folder. I've given it the permission it needs, tried to create alias and put the folder somewhere else -> it seems from searching on different forums that it's an ongoing problem for a lot of people. I might try and reinstall or download full STEAM folder library.

You need to place the alias in the user/library/application support/Spectrasonics
its the hidden part of your OS
Hold down the alt key then in the top menu click on GO and scroll down to Library click to open it then open app support Folder if there isn't a spectrasonic folder create one then put your alias in there that should work
    GOOD LUCK
