Hey everyone, so just yesterday I decided to download Omnisphere 2.0 from a torrent. The entire file was around 60gb so I thought it might be the real deal. Anyways, I followed the steps and everything went accordingly. However, I changed the installation path as there was no longer any space on my SSD C: Drive. I installed it separately onto my Secondary Hard Drive (Screen shots below). When I tried to open omnisphere using my DAW it gave me a few error messages and no sounds loaded. (After I put the keygen in). Any help would be appreciated. My guess is that I installed it wrong but I have no idea how to correct it.

did you copy the shortcut of the Steam folder on your E drive to: C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics

 

I don't have a C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics folder. Should I create one?

hi, sorry I did not look at all your pictures. You need to install soundsources update, patch library update and software update. But first I got to know if you are on Windows 10 or Windows 7 cause many people have problems with the newest update on Windows 7.

Daskeladden, you said in the pm to move the updates in to the Program files\Spectrasonics folder. As I didn't install omnisphere there, will I have to create a folder named "Spectrasonics" then "plug-ins" ?

No just install the updates you don't have to move them anywhere. They will automatically find their right place. Do that first and then patch the plugin in the places I explained. Then move the shortcut of the Steam folder as I explained in the first comment

 

First off, thank you very VERY much. Secondly, me being me, I wrongly mistaked "Program Data" For "Program Files". I'm glad I noticed that but anyway, Omnisphere works perfectly and hopefully all this stress will pay off! Thank you again.
