The best thing is to simply install an older 32-bit DAW, such as PreSonus - Studio One v2.6, Cakewalk - Sonar, or Synapse Audio - Orion 32-bit. This way, everything works flawlessly and you get a clear overview. Also legendary were: Wizooo - Darbuka and Latigo VSTi

Sister site recently got a big cleanup of almost all older releases.
Also applied to a few of my older Serum releases so I asked around & got answers.

If you're looking for older plugins, you now have to search for alternative sites.
For this particular Synth I still have an automated installer around that I coded for myself.
    Could share this with you.

Kjaerhus' plugins were indeed gold, simple and effective tools with no gimmicks, especially the Classic series plugins. Shame that the plugins will never be updated.

EXD 80... And I thought I was the only one who knew of that plugin. What a beautiful and quirky hidden gem

This one, buggy, crashes, but i still like it enough to keep it running.

It runs with jbridge but i advise using the oldest vcredist2005 possible.

I like clipper and limiter and really quick parallel options.

I´m afraid to even look into this thread as i´m slowly "cutting" specially what aymat posted, it could spiral me into months of...not sleeping.

Kjearhus plugs, i find them easy to use, but honestly i could not catch up to them, ML1-pro limiter has a sound to it tho. This one is for sure the one where i say the time has moved on, GMO is a nice effect still..

TC Powercore, theres VSS3, i wish someone would "export" that MD3 compressor..

I'm thinking a lot about the first Vanguard. It had the best Arpeggiators and Gates for Trance music those times.

    I really love this Thread.
    Good idea guys

FULL Respect to Juan Antonio, he was a brilliant guy. :shalom:
I used to chat with him on IRC, but even he was next town to mine we never met. :(
I got shocked the following day after him passing away when I read about it on the local news.

Interview: Peter Gorges 2004, from Keyboards to Wizoo

There is something like a veteran of the German keyboard scene. We're talking about Peter Gorges, born in 1964. Peter Gorges owes his popularity in the industry primarily to his work as a freelance editor for the trade magazine KEYBOARDS. His in-depth reviews, spiced with ironic and sarcastic commentary, were long the emotional highlight of every issue of Keyboards.

He owed his practical approach to his experience as a studio keyboardist and arranger for numerous productions between 1985 and 2003. He has written more than 300 articles and 13 books on music technology to date. Furthermore, Peter Gorges is considered a leading figure in sound design, having served as a sound designer for almost all major and minor brands and contributing as a consultant to the development of various synthesizers, including Kawai, Clavia, and Waldorf.

In 1997, Peter Gorges finally founded his own company, WIZOO, where he remains the managing partner to this day.
Today, WIZOO has three partners: Peter Gorges, none other than composer and Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer, and former Steinberg CEO Manfred Rürup.
