I have a cracked version of Kontakt 5.7.3 with Session Strings Pro 2. When I try and add the library it tells me that Kontakt 5.7.3 is too old. I really don’t want to upgrade to 5.8. So my question is, is there a way to get Session Strings Pro 2 to run on 5.7.3. Maybe an alteration to the code in the nicnt file?

Short answer: No..........Libraries are written to work with specific verz of Kontakt...so....
suggest IF U must hav the library...dl the Portable verz of Kontakt 5.8 n run along with your current verz
(Read the comments on our sister site as to how to run both without conflict!).. Just a note I've updated Kontakt every verz
to now v5.8 with No problems...but its your choice Mate

 

Thanks Doc. I saw the portable version and I guess I was intimidated by the install. It looks like a very different process than I’ve done before. Any insights? Also, what does it mean “portable” thanks very much!
