insert Keanu "whoaaaa" face here- that's something that I think Ive really really been enjoying about reaper and not being able to verbalize. after going from Ableton for like 15 years (solid beat making program imo, quite lacking in more standard mixing stuff) to reaper I had months of culture shock- but the early frustrations, of which there was A LOT finally made me realize that with reaper it's a matter of changing the program to suit you, and it's so customizable there IS a way. which brings its own set of problems but also rewards if you enjoy puzzle solving, which is kinda what the process of music making is for me in a way so it works out. I can see where that isnt a good fit for everyone and counter to the point of making music hahaha, but not for me!
