Sorry, this is terrible, no need to ruin a classic with this autotune crap.

Always a challenge to do a new version of a Beatles song ..... a lot of people are pretty conservative and only find the original version ok!

    I think it´s a fair try

Hey I like it! I like the atmosphere that you created, the vocals fit the groove and it's original. I never would have recognized it as a Beatle's tune, but isn't that the goal? You heard the song in another space and you created/produced it. Very creative, m2c

Sounds pretty good, but I personally think the kick is both too clicky and too soft; it didn't quite fit the 'feel' of the rest of the song.

Well I thought it was really good. I am a big fan of James Blake and this reminded me of his work.
Looking forward to hearing more from you :)

edit: on a sidenote, i never think covers/remixes/etc ever "ruin" a song- the original song will still be there, and will still sound the same

You're the hater here, mate. You hate the Beatles. It's the only explanation. :dunno:

And I'm not against remakes, there are plenty of great renditions of this song out there, yours is just not one of them.

It's not like haters gonna hate, but honestly don't call that song a beatles cover...I'm pretty open to hear new things, and usually I really enjoy covers, but this one my friend is far from being a beatles cover...

Exactly !!! How can you call it a cover if you can't recognize the original tune...

Please no offence, this is only my point of view.

I like it. First off, beautiful voice. It fits the track well. The arrangement is very dynamic and it keeps the interest up. The only thing I kind of missed there is somehow of a guitar rendition to evoke Harrison's grandeur. A bluesy guitar would compliment it well.

Nice job, from a real Beatles fan.

I wouldnt have known it was a cover. I think its a good cover, I wouldnt have said its autotune ala 90s which I hate but this Blake effect works better for me.

well.. it's an original approach.. for sure... might benefit from a little less effect on the voice..
but then that seems to be what you were going for throughout.. so.. :dunno:

the overdone sc compression gets on my nerves, and I miss THE GUITAR.
the whole thing is completely overproduced. it's just to weep. :deep_facepalm:

Yes, there is absolutely a likeness to James Blake- I love Blake!

And for you guys saying it's not a cover... Well... If it wasn't very different from the original, then, what's the point? Just listen to the original...

Not solo guitar, no. I considered it, but couldn't make it work. However, there are still acoustic guitar 8-notes, and also, that transistion effect from the first verse to the chorus. That's from a guitar... :P Funny... i was just watching Star Trek TNG...

I think you missed the point. It's not that you can't recognise the song, but rather that it isn't obvious that it is a Beatles song, if you hadn't heard the original before. At least that is how I read it.
