A bit disappointed with the release like many others, but I think the real star of the show is the protection they broke. This is probably just the tip of the iceberg, and seeing how it didn't get the "read NFO" treatment, I believe this is just a taste of what's to come. People just need to feel less entitled and keep an open mind. Unless you're short on time in this life, there's always something to come. And if you're short on time, you should just blow your credit card instead of waiting. Or maybe just spend time with the people you love, I don't know.

The sense of entitlement from some is baffling. In my case, I am just glad that there are people out there willing to spent time cracking plugins for our benefit. As for me, i loved the fact that i can get access to synthogy

Those type of people don't even understand that by cracking various products that they might not use or don't like, teams are constantly putting pressure on developers, quality wise, price wise, change their schematics that eventually will benefit customers, i bought many plugins because cracking and dev's fear of being k'd made many things affordable.

 

Witches are not a restaurant where you can place an order. Witches are highly skilled programmers who challenge the most hard protections and often, with their cracks, “teach” companies that their policy is wrong (both in terms of protection and retail prices).
Personally, I don't care what they publish. I will always be grateful as long as they continue to do so (even if they stop doing so). And even if I never use that product, someone else will. And that makes me happy.

Exactly, imagine there were no crackers, you'd see plugins sell for hundreds of dollars and libraries even more expensive, while cracking might hurt indie devs, but for the big guys i don't feel sorry for them, i remember Waves plugins were like 800$ 600$... Cracking made them set prices down to 29$ lately and many followed

Guys, come on, we should all be grateful to have a team like R2R! Stop complaining and appreciate what we have so far. Thanks to them, I've been able to properly test so many plugins before buying, Way better than those 14-day trial limits. Some I ended up purchasing, and others I deleted altogether. So please, relax, make some music, and in the meantime, check out what's new on the sister site.

Your entitlement is simply astounding - check yourself seriously - YOU ARE WHAT IS WRONG IN THE SCENE.

No one owes you anything and you should remember, ANY cracked audio warez is ILLEGAL so you do not get to pick or bitch.

R2R are held in such high esteem, and receive so much love, because they have done more than any other group in history, over 10,000 cracked apps and still counting.

Now LISTEN UP and LEARN.
For a group to crack a program, most of the time (but not always) they need a copy of the software AND a fully legal working license which someone has to buy and then DONATE to the group. Some programs take weeks to crack, others take months, and some years, if at all.

The Witches simply do not use their own money to buy these things and neither should they as they have lives to lead, maybe jobs and family's. They are not a Charity.

The have to be able to live, eat, clothe themselves and any family they may have.

There is no wish list or shopping list for what you perceive you have the right to demand.

The mantra of the audio warez scene has always, and will always be: Try Before You Buy

Audio warez is not meant to be a replacement for paying the developers, if you download and like a cracked program then support the developers and buy it.

I am ashamed of what the warez scene has become with everyone clamoring and demanding what they personally believe that they are entitled to but the percentage of those who pay for software and supply it to R2R is so small.

While in this thread there have been some nice people saying things like "we will get what we get when ever R2R drop it" there are so many more passive aggressive posts and that is just not on.

I would not blame the witches if they look at the scene and say f**k it, we are done.

Seriously you have no idea of how much the audio scene owes to R2R, the hundreds and thousands of hours, days, weeks, months AND years of unpaid dedication.

Do not forget about the developers of the software either because without them there would be no software.

So if you think that you are going to come on a thread and show them such pissy disrespect and not get called out for it - you are wrong.

More fun with our release :

* Our release supports decrypted libraries.
* Our release allows you to decrypt the legit library with your iLok license.
After the decryption, you can share the library to the world.

You need :
Synthogy.Ivory.3.Shared.Library-R2R

and especially
Sacrifice the Ivory libraries to welcome the Black Friday.
In other words, R2R will not be providing other library's, and anyone who has other legit ones
should share them.
