    It's more about the challenge and also for the "semi-pros" out there.
    Sure, one can save up and buy it - as I did... AND SOLD it because I realized I didn't need it, thanks to R2R (2021.7 unlocked AAX) I got a HUGE sense of what it was to use it everyday, and therefore after a couple of years, realized it's not for me and my work.

    PT is fun with external hardware, well sort of "fun". And interesting to learn it especially when you are young and want to know why all the studios use it.

    We all hate DRM right ? It's always amazing to see giants fall because we KNOW it's overpriced and BREAKS because of protection.
    Anyway I'm on mac now ROLF, but R2R lives on forever

    They generalize and lump everything together. I suspect they're from the younger generation who think in black and white and can no longer differentiate, because there are many shades of gray.

    Lazy writers also abbreviate everything: PT, meaning Pro Tools, is no longer the be-all and end-all and isn't used as often anymore. Our sound engineers are trained on Steinberg Cubase and macOS.

    Young people and their constant hatred of anything and everything, along with their generalizations—everyone thinks that. There's hardly any overpriced software. Perhaps they should ask themselves how much they want to earn per hour and how they'll live if their products are hacked and available for free download on the internet.

    All this bitching about PT, when their 2021 PT upload on the sister site is still the 14th most viewed R2R release ever, and 3rd this decade.
    Don’t kid yourself. People do want to see PT and Avid fall.

    Even if there's no Gong this year, i don't care, i want to thank R2R for everything they done to us all these years, for Halloween i got the best gift today from our Russian friend vkDanilov (Pianoteq v9.0.2)
