I thought about it, not sure it's "legendary" but would be very cool to see

We are at answer #563, a large portion of users, initial projections in our data center, expect 80% UAD, 10% VSL and the remaining 10% are mixed.

There won't be Cambridge for now, as it's not available in Native. Only if someone emulates the UAD DSP, as they did for Virus, Waldorf, Nord...

Yeah, I’ve been around since those days. At first, I was just a guest, then I created an account, but got banned:dunno: (still have no idea why, I just logged in one day and... boom). After a long while, I came back as a guest again, and after almost 12 years, I registered again through my friend Oly. Rest in eternal peace, Olymoon.

I remember back in the days when Team Air was a thing. A lot of plugins and synths would get cracked by them, and their work was top-notch. At that time, R2R was just starting out, and some of his cracks didn’t work properly. But time passed...:guru::guru:

R2R went into the snowy mountains for "a little training"nothing serious, just your average Tuesday. He punched rocks (like, hundreds of them), wrestled a couple of bears (no biggie), and after each fight, he'd chow down on some bear meat like it was a protein shake:snuffy:. He climbed cliffs, drank two bottles of vodka every day, and after each one, he'd mutter, "CY:excl:A BL:excl:AT,":bleh: like it was his personal chant. Countless losses later, he got stronger, unlocked the magic of cracking, and descended from the mountains ready to conquer the world, or at least crack a few plugins And this witcher watches to see what we type on our keyboard.

Now R2R is the nightmare of all the companies that don’t give lifetime free updates to their products. With a simple "You shall not pass!" he hits them with a network block (TEAM R2R Network Block Runtime), and every time, he surprises the heck out of us. We think, "Okay, that’s the peak of R2R’s power," but then, out of nowhere, he shows up again, holding a bottle of vodka in his hand, and says, "I’m bringing you a monster from the land of the dead."
    Hoping to bring UAD:bow:

:excl:All of this was just for fun, guys:excl::wink::mates:

Parawave Rapid Synthesizer would be awesome, but I'll be happy and very grateful with what ever goodies they have cooking in the cauldron.

Trust me, it will be all UAD dsp based stuff.
    who need native shit?

I mean, Spark cost 100$/year. it's nothing if you make money with music, if you making music just as hobby, you don't need uad

I'm currently trying out the MG4+ (MaagEQ), and it's absurd that you have to be online to use it! Even UAD plugins work without an internet connection.

I am a R2R fanboy, but we shouldn't be forgetting Audioutopia's contributions. That guy was insane (in a good way). Appeared out of nowhere, hanged out for a while and brought the light that is still shining on our head and disappeared. The best real world cameo I have ever seen.

Guys, we may have lost track of the witches nfo lore. I don't know if they used this phrase often, but I checked and it is absolutely right -- the phrase "A gong is waiting for something..." is written at the end of the Avid Pro Tools v2021.7.0 LEGIT AAX UNLOCK ONLY INTERNAL-R2R release nfo.
Released after halloween on the first of November 2021, almost 4 years ago round.

This aligns quite well. The pokemons could correspond to the plugins and the pokeballs the axx ecosystem. The Witches never did a release of Pro Tools. It is indeed a huge legendary monster. But AudioUtopia took care of it almost 10 years ago.

I forgot this one. Avenger never got a release also to my knowing.

I am now pretty sure what to expect on the next nights. Even if unreal (JP-8000 or even Pianteq) things are happening lately UAD seem too huge. I think it may be even trivial or fun to crack for them but with a such limited catalogue this would only worsen things for the next native plug-ins to come, if they ever want native users to see them during their lifetime lol. But the breaking of the "hardware dongle" would be so legendary to witness. Hope to see this one day !

Avid, beware the magic potions are coming !

Team V.R. had taken care of that back then:

Vengeance Avenger v1.2.2 CE rev 1-V.R

All these unrealistic demands for software people won't know how to use anyway. Maybe after the reaction to Sequoia last time, they have adjusted the release schedule and we will see the much awaited Unison Plugin Bundle.

    Hey Skaunker,

I’m glad you managed to wake everyone up for a moment. :)
The connections between the topics and those NFOs aren’t “tiny” at all.

Here’s another reminder: all copyrights worldwide become “public domain” after 10 years — meaning they lose their protection, their “trick,” and are effectively void in the digital space.

Take a look at how many years have passed since 12.5. :)
And then recall that brilliant little line from R2R’s PT NFO… “A gong is waiting for something...” :)

In the end, it never fully took that version — it was waiting for something. :) And now, that moment has come... because Runtime Blocker was designed exactly for that.
The Pokémon references fit perfectly too, since gifts were distributed before — those being the Pokémon and Pokéballs. :)

A simple yet fun puzzle, often overlooked. :)

    Best regards.

I now also believe that it will unfortunately be pro-tools.

I don't really need Pro Tools because I'm completely satisfied with Cubase, but I'm still happy for anyone who wants it... I'm still hoping for UAD and Softube... let the games begin!

I want the Pro Tools to rot as many others here. It doesn't deserve to be alive in 2025, to be honest.
