if 2020 it's still on the elicenser thingy right ? I thought vr/r2r been releasing other elicenser lineup (Absolute bundle) for a long time since before 2020 but still not including that particular bundle.

 

it uses the old dongle elicenser which kinda is the same as old cubase protection but those absolute bundle which team vr released before does not require dongle but just the soft elicenser.(Also Team R2R does not release steinberg before new license, i mean exclude those old toys from r2r)

I want pro tools like I want a catheter.

 

My mastering master uses it. He used almost all mastering tools like samplitude, pyramix, wavelab, etc. but finally settled on sequoia. It only works on windows platform and is the most expensive of all mastering tools.

 

But isn't it Samplitude's big brother version, in a general speaking sense?

 

it definitely is! more functionalities added but in its very core (and ui wise) its the same thing

Do you have any link to the fact that Sequoia is endangered? I only read that Magix wants to keep everything as it is for now. Only for products where there are more than two versions do they want to reduce them to a Pro and a Consumer version.

A urinary catheter is not very pleasant, but it is certainly useful. I think the same goes for Pro Tools.
