Great vibe and arrangement, but something happen between the Mixing & Mastering, there just too much low mid, no air & space between instruments. Also i feel the bass is everywhere LCR When it should be mostly C (other than sound effects/design), your causing speakers to muffle your mix pumping all that low mid & bass information. Almost forgot some high-end transient limiting esp @1:51

I could be wrong in what i'm hearing, i'm sick at the moment, stupid norovirus got me, but just in-case hear is something a whip up to give you a better idea of what i'm talking about. I only had trouble with the snare it was clogging up the lowend, fix it in the mix it can still punch without soo much lowend

Ok it's the second time you tell me that low end is a mess, I'm all for useful advices and critics. But just saying "low is a mess" is useless without explaining why and how I could improve it.

 

Hello, great, but the vocal should be louder by 1,5-2 dB, the rest can be

 

Mixing is my weakest point. Some producer friends tells me it's very good, some don't, it's so subjective it's driving me insane.

 

Just re-uploaded the track, with modifications on the mixing and mastering. Need feedback

Nice work. You’ll always meet (sometimes unhelpful) criticism on forums. I guess the challenge is to try to learn from it.
Or just ignore it and keep on having fun making tunes.
I find mixing a complete nightmare too, so I feel for you.

Yeah, I spent most of 2017 trying to make a good mastering template, but I just lost my time instead of creating music....

take your favorite composition to a mixing engineer; some will let you sit in with them and you can tune your ears through the practice. Others will just come over and use your daw stock plugs (which may be even more helpful). This service should run you in the area of $50/hour. alternatively, there are a number of educational resources available on az. find one where the daw is the same as yours.

There's no beef here man, just keep at it.
