Anyone know where to find this?.. I am a legitimate owner of Logic too... but we all know how those a55holes are about keeping older versions of ANY of their software.

If it isn't showing up in your purchases in the App. Store. Send them an e-mail with your serial number (or transaction id if you bought it through the App store) they'll put it back up for download.

This usually happens when you buy stuff off DVD and it isn't registered at the App Store, or sometimes some heavy handed brute force database updates. If you have proof of purchase, or a serial they'll put it back up for you.

 

well, I bought Logic when it was already Pro X... so I doubt those c3cksuck3rs will let me "downgrade."

I laugh... but yeah, I had some old files that were in 9... and I like the older v 9 look. and was used to it.

And don't really dig the Pro X as much.

Very used to the way I navigated and zoomed in and out... and I liked the key commands for accessing midi-computer-keyboard... I use nothing but my computer keyboard for a midi keyboard and I was used to doing MY thing in 9

 

X opens all 9 projects.
install x
get a 9 skin for x - Logic 9 Plus V3.1 Theme
in x go to Logic Pro X > Key Comands > Presets and load "Logic 9" and you'll have all old key commands

THe thing is, I like using Logic Pro 9cuz it I just come up with different sounding stuff in it.

Just because it is a different DAW than what I normally use (Ableton), and I come up with stuff in IT that I would not come up with otherwise... that goes for any DAW really. I enjoy switching it up.

It's almost like playing a different guitar model or something.

How do I load the Pro 9 preset?.. that option is not available in Pro X?

also very happy that im finally getting back to mixing... bought a pair of cdj-1000 mk3's and a djm600... unfortunately I don't have my technics or djm 500 from 17 years ago... can't wait to beatmatch with out the help of temposync... like we use to do with vinyl.
