Hello Guys,

does anyone here has experience with the screenrecorder OBS Studio and Cubase?
I wanted to record my screen (the arrangement) including audio (of course), but OBS does not receive any audio from Cubase (11).
I tried it in Wavelab and RX8 and it works, audio is coming in at OBS, so I assume it is not a problem with OBS or my soundcard (Focusrite Scarlett).
Can anybody help?

 

Back in the day I had done it using a presonus studio 1824 interface witch have the option to output virtual audio outputs (had to choose the virtual output as an input device through obs). May be possible to achieve it by using a VB-CABLE or the voicemeeter app, with increased latencies however.

I had the same problem with streaming my DAW session. The solution is fairly easy, you need two things: virtual audio cable (eg VBCABLE) and the reastream plugin by cockos.
