Good morning. I installed a DAW software to make music (NUendo BY STEINBERG) and I activated it for the first time but it can't finish opening because it crashes the system. I've tried everything to delete folders with plug-ins, updated graphics cards, etc...) but it always crashes. The screen tells me that the conflict is given by this file: AcusticaVirtualCable2ch.sys interrupt code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. You can help me? Thank you

Thank you for your prompt response. I tried to rename the various Vst 2 Vste vst.. in the various folders so that the system would not detect them, but there is nothing to do. Basically I see that Nuendo loads all the Vsts and arrives at the initialization of the contents everything is ok, then when the auto system appears it stays still for a few seconds and crashes. I don't know if Spectralayers can cause problems or autotune...(ARA) which are loaded afterwards. But I see that the Vst loads them. Among other things I have another computer with Win 11 at home with a few plug ins and it works great...! I'm attaching a photo I took yesterday on a message in the register... Thanks

What is your audio setup on the computer? Try installing the generic asio driver and see if that helps. Also make sure windows is not using the device exclusively. make windows default sound device something else. Windows always grabs new devices and makes them default. So if you use an external usb device and activate it with the computer on, windows often decides to use that instead of what it was set to use.

So: I have always disabled Windows audio, in fact I have set up my Audient id 24 and its Asio (maybe I'm wrong?) and everything has always been ok. At this moment I had downloaded the program to read the minidump files (yesterday I had downloaded files from Win11) and it gives me these strings... Possibly then I go to the studio and try to search in Cubase Nuendo if I find yours.

Ok I solved it. Deleted sys files and Acustica tab (is Sienna plug in). Now everything is ok. Sienna works too. Thank you
