    Anyone know the up front obvious differences between Cubase Pro and Nuendo? I been using Cubase for years, but never explored Nuendo really. I gather it's more intended for post-production type of sound design and mastering, or am I wrong? Would a musician/music producer gain much from moving up to Nuendo from Cubase Pro?

    Nuendo is essentially Cubase Pro Plus and Steinberg are officially moving away from the dongle, so imho i'd be extraordinary if Nuendo 12 hasn't also been re-engineered for Steinberg's new online registration model.

    Is it worth learning Nuendo for Music Production ? I don't do post, video, dialogue or any film related stuff. I'm thinking of getting to know Wavelab after this but since you said "Pro Plus" maybe there are more to it than the Cubase. I'm thinking of learning Wavelab if we get the chance to.

    nuendo is extremally powerful but with dolby getting introduced to cubase i don't know how much more powerful it is

    i mean yes there are some awesome thing like dialog editing and some crazy speaker configurations

    this makes no sense, since it was not released yet, so how can teams avoid releasing it? So the logic error?

    If it has the same login and auth process, the process will be silky smooth.

    I am not even sure if not Cubase is enough?
    So sure that you can even score a Blockbuster movie with Cubase? Or i am wrong and missing feature details for Nuendo? Or is Nuendo used for broadcasting stuff? post producting, etc?

    nuendo is much grater and also when cubase 12 gets dolby will it get released

    Depends on what you work on. Stability is better with Nuendo, otherwise Cubase offers so much that an average user will never even utilize.

    didnt test the newer versions
    But, workflow wise they where not identical.
    i always prefered mxing in Nuendo, seting up Busses and Sends seemed simpler
    and working with audio seemed straight forward and simpler if you had loads of snippets
    another thing, a better video/Export implementation!!!

    again but, they probably consolidated quite a few things by now
    when it comes out i´ll have a look:thumbsup:
