firstly both tracks are skrillex bangarang era brostep in sound and composition ...this means 2011-2013 era robot fart and metallic screaming , ni massive ,mid bass .

secondly both sound like a downloaded project file that was changed a bit with each track.

thirdly the second tracks organ/synth skank rhythm is too 4/4.

fourthly you should look into other dubstep genres , digidub , dubstyle reggae , grime , darker 2step , riddim dubstep , trench , metal/deathstep , dungeon , deep medi , purple , colorbass .

for the sound you went for is fine , but that genre was basically popular due to mobile phones and mid bass sounding good on even crap headphones and phone speakers

 

well what can i say i made these tracks myself didn't download a project file , i can agree they sound mediocre that's why i said it first , about looking at other genres of dubstep i think i will stay away from that i only like brostep so nothing to be done there

 

ah yes, I already forgot exploitation of Massive synth, haha dubstep is massivxploitation genre, the next generation does it with Serum - now we have the plague of serumxploitation in wannabe-producers crowd

 

only liking brostep is a rather odd choice since you are choosing to make it yourself , so this is why both tracks are era specific cookie cutter ,and premade project file sounding .

you should really broaden your genre palette , especially since brostep of this type is other edm (buzzword edm) genres mix in.

at least they got creative with colorbass , and the experimental riddim stuff.
a lot of the oldschool dubstep heads ended up shifting the traditional dubby stuff into more of a dark tribal techno vibe , or doing more jazz influenced stuff with a uk grime feel .
