Well, it's not about making a kick sound, it's about making a whole track from nothing but a single kick sound . . . very different things! *yes*

Making a whole track from one sound in an hour is pretty quick really . .

Not sure i would actually credit that as a track made out of one sound tbh.
Using the one sound to put effects into self oscillation then manipulating the tone from there is borderline cheating hehe.
One step further from that and you find yourself using the one sound to trigger an audio to midi plugin controlling a synth and still calling it one sound lol.

Still, pretty cool exercise to keep the producer brain working!

 

Ok, point taken. It was just one plugin (camelspace) on the pure kick, but I know what you mean. It's a grey area. I only used different FX on the same sound. So the kick is the only sound source, that's what I meant.
