Not at all at my side.
That's the part that i like about Falcon. It loads quick, its responsive and low on CPU.
    I use it in Reaper

"Check and mate!" is just a way of drawing out the word checkmate to make it sound more dramatic.
“check and mate” here means your answer was the finish blow that shuts Falcon critics mouth up

It beats all the silly little groupies who think you have to praise it, because someone cracked it. Then, if you don't, then you are ungrateful and get a stern scolding from every clown on here that doesn't even know the difference between 90% of these synths. LOL. Why don't cliched guys like you, get a life. Instead of going around looking for people who negatively review something, so you can parrot the same comments you seem to think everybody else makes. I agree 100% that this is a seriously over rated product. Seeing as I actually bought and sold it. Along with half of the others that did the same. There's a pretty good reason why you don't read about all the people using Falcon, because the only ones that use stuff like this, are the clowns that wait for something to get cracked, because they have no idea about half the stuff they love to talk about

Only thing that can be said about Falcon is that if you know what you are doing. There are a million other synths and plugins that do a much better job, are much cheaper, and actually provide demos, because they are not trying to hide the fact that they are nothing special, but want to charge like they are. LOL

I got it a year or so ago, when I found out I was going to be working remotely for months. Used it for hours every day, and learned it. I still put my samples into Kontakt for the most part. This is only when I do not use the Logic QSampler and DMD anyway; that does almost everything I need without loading a Third-Party plugin. I use it all the time for nearly any elements you will normally find yourself hitting with some additional reverb. Sounds that are pushed back in the mix a little bit, like you would with a reverb aux/bus. It is not my go-to synth for big Leads or Basses, or my main Kick Drum.

I use Falcon Drum Designer in almost every project. I drag export MIDI drum tracks from it, directly into Logic and then reassign the data to trigger Battery, Kontakt, or AD2, etc. Break the loop up into separate tracks and mixer strips. (or just use Drum Replacer if you forget).

For the 200$ I paid for it, I would buy it again now, if I did not have a copy. I would not install most expansions, just Factory, Drum Designer, PX Sunbox, Mayhem of Loops, Atmospherics, VV, etc. I listened to a lot of demo loops before buying any of the expansions; and many of them were just nothing I would use in my personal tracks. They are just material that would be better suited to composing, than being in any of my tracks.

But I think users are right to be skeptical of anything in Audio Software. Nexus leaked and got exposed as the Emperor Has No Clothes.
With Falcon, he just has too many clothes. Revisit some of these UVI threads in a few weeks/months. Many of those who are "unimpressed" will have dramatically changed their tunes. Just like they did when Kontakt was too complicated for them at first. :)

@ 49:50 I'm pretty sure Kontakt would have fallen over at that point.

The thing is, some of those vintage libs ARE literally vintage! From years ago.

Yup OP.. it's completely over-rated, out classed and a total fucking snooze fest to see it dominate the sister site with its crappy little soft synth add ons and sample libs that wouldn't have passed muster as Kontakt libraries even 5 years back.

I don't know what all these hoarders are doing with all that shit but it ain't makin' music.

I am not impressed either, too many sonic possibilities, too much to learn for a simple patch. A patch I could probably be making by playing the recorded stange noises my dog makes, on my Casio; just as Tiesto did in the good old days. :trashing:
