Anyone else getting this when using NordVPN on the sister site. I have clicked on safe but every new window open is not saving the settings and it is very annoying

 

Just tested it once more: no problem using NordVPN and sister site. Nor this site.
But I use the Linux version of NordVPN. Maybe that could make a difference?

 

The page has a black background. Of course it is suspicious.

There are no files even hosted on that website, so what are you even hiding by using VPN? Add an exception and call it a day.

 

I normally have my VPN on 24/7 when I am downloading stuff through Jdownloader and have been using NordVPN for over 4 years now so it seems strange now for it now. Also didnt want to reference anything to the sister site through the screenshot

Doesn't show me any warnings on Windows and Linux, but I do have Threat Protection Pro turned off

 

This was the only work around NordVPN may have added something in an update recently and is causing the issue

If you use their link checker on the NordVPN website it shows "https://sister.site/ shows no signs of malicious activity."

 

If Nord VPN is now backtracking it's only because they are afraid.

 

t's ironic coming from a company with such weak user account protection that there are entire black markets dedicated to reselling stolen NordVPN accounts. They sure know who we should trust.

 

This is why I rely on FIDO2 when I use MFA, yet my bank still thinks SMS is a reliable second factor.

If someone’s sole intent is staying 100% anonymous, a VPN is not the solution. I use a VPN for a few different reasons, but I always expect my data can be traced somewhere along the way.

 

You think there's a single VPN that is not controlled by CIA/NSA?

I mean if I look at the countries avaiable TorGuard offers, it's almost like a list of rainbow countries...
And if it is one of the few remaining heterosexual countries, I do not believe, that the security services of that country will allow the hostile anal empire to run these servers without seeing the traffic, too...

Understanding the difference between the two is very important.

 

NORDvpn already has black marks against it for turning over logs to LE. Any VPN that stores users logs and helps LE wont be in biz very long. Nord's days are numbered...
