NoiseAsh has released an update to their Pultec emulation collection, and a new plugin emulating the Neve 31102 Console EQ. If you are one of those who can't wait for both of these releases to hit the sister site, all you need is:

    1) To have the previous version of the Rule Tec All Collection installed.

    2) Download both demos from the official site and install on top of the previous Rule Tec All Collection version.

    3) If you have the previous version but don't have it installed, just install the new version and use the KG.

    4) If yo dont have the previous version you need to ....

Are you saying the rule tec collection registration also registers the new console EQ?

Wow! Did you attempt to see if the same registration works for their Palmary collection plugins too?

It looks like the all collection gives you more flexibility if you don't want to use everything bundled together as in the Pro. The pro version will take up more screen space and probably more CPU. There may be other reasons.

Heritage is a plugin which includes all separate rule tec plugins as all-in-one instance.
Rule tec collection includes all separate plugins and Heritage. So from this collection you choose, either separate plugins or all-in-one plugin (heritage) to insert in your chain/bus...

I tried to post it on sister site with same instructions but it was rejected due to that r2r rule. It is what it is.

Please don't PM or email me asking for instructions. I was very clear. You need to have the previous version of All Rule Tec installed or the KG that came with it. I always try to help everyone but this is the type of question that should not be asked. The answer has been given.

Does anyone have tried the Ignite Amps PTEq-X Pultec and this one from the thread,Noiseash Ruletec?
    https://www.kvraudio.com/product/pteq-x-by-ignite-amps

Both are Pultec emulations and I don't know any of them.

How do you evaluate them besides Waves,Nomad Factory,IK Multimedia,etc..?

I have too much plugins,so I would like to know what you think before installing another potential crap.

I think the NoiseAsh ones are alright sounding.

To me, the Lindell equalizers that are now sold by plugin alliance sound like a better choice for the job, they have more of that vibe you need from a Pultec. Of course they're not Pultecs to begin with, but you know what I mean.

Nebula/Acustica cumbersome and CPU hungry Pultecs are still at the top of the chart, for me. You put one of those on, and it doesn't just do its EQ job, it also gives your sound a special varnish that is just great. That same varnish seemed to not be present in the NoiseAsh emulations despite their claim that they're anal with simulating absolutely everything in depth.
