I installed the latest FabFilter bundle for MacOS from the sister site, but there are no presets for any of the plugins.

Found a thread here from 2017 about the same issues, but the solution suggested didn't work for me - clicking "restore factory presets" will give an error which says "Please make sure that your current preset folder path is valid and that your preset folder is not read-only."

Anyone could help?

My system: MacOS Catalina, hackintosh
DAW: Reaper

 

Presets with Ableton are working just fine, just make sure the default preset folder exists? And reinstall from the previous version if needed, it will install the preset folder.

 

mine are in library/audio/presets/fabfilter

If not there check same, but your user name first

Right click info on the entire presets folder as well as any fabfilter folder there and make sure it isn't locked and had read/write privileges at the bottom of the get info window. If yours is in yoir user/mac drive etc, move it or copy it to the first one I posted above.

For mac, the Fabfilter presets folder is at the following location:
User Library/Audio/Presets/Fabfilter
