has anybody else had problems with getting audio input from an external audio interface in fl studio 20.8.3 on monterey latest update. output is working fine from samples and vsts and the strange thing is that i am getting audio from the device in ableton live.

system is a macmini 2019.

i am at a bit of a loss, normally i can figure it out quite easily but this time nope. and yes i've selected the right device (hence the output) and also selected the right inputs in the mixer tracks. and i can also see it is receiving the audio on the device itself.

 

can somebody try to record audio from an external input on macos in fl studio to confirm if this is a me problem or a release problem or a wtf problem?

 

The way Macs make you open the security center to approve things is kind of broken. Especially when the app doesn't automatically open the security settings menu for you then you have to figure it out on your own. Then the dang "allow/deny" option will disappear if you don't check fast enough. Blehhh
