NKS Mapping does not automatically transfer to other presets?

    Hello. I hope you are all well. I recently started using Komplete Kontrol, and I downloaded a Serum template that had all the knobs mapped (which is named Serum template.nksf). Then, I used PresetMagician to create nks presets for all my Serum presets. Here's the problem - Unless I load the Serum template.nksf first, all the other presets don't have the knob mappings when I load them. How can I fix this so I can have the knobs mapped when I first open Serum inside KK? Thanks.

    Import your mapping into preset magician before you convert all the presets.

    Highlight the plugin you want, then Select Plugin Settings from the main toolbar
    In the second tab called Controller Assignment, Select load mappings form NKS
    Browse to the template and load it. Then simply reconvert your presets.

    The controller template is held in the meta data added to each NKS preset file.

    Thank you so much. Do I have to reconvert all the preview files too, or would it be ok to just leave them alone and reconvert the nksf files only?

    Na, just leave the previews as they are, no need to reconvert. :wink:
