Hi guys, my first post here and a bit of an emergency!!
Wondering if anyone can offer any help.

Mac OSX10.6.2

I have legit Maschine and Absynth and a warez released vesion of Kontakt 4, Massive, FM8 Kore etc. A few Kontakt Library warez releases too.
I never launched NI service Center form this system and always authorized or updated Maschine offline.

Bought Sasha SounLab last night and downloaded Kontakt 5 player free. Installed and tried to do an offline authorization for the Sasha Soundlab and stupidly launched Service Center, but not connected to the internet. Kontakt 5 players picked up all my Kontakt libraries and Service Center showed all cracked codes on it saying codes did not match products. So i stopped and quit Service Center.

How do i proceed. If i connect to the internet from this machine, wont this file go to NI home ? I have little snitch however.
Don't know how to go about this issue.........

I obviously don't want this info going to NI.

How do i : 1. Authorize Sasha Sound Lab
2. Erase this NI service center file
3. Manage legit and warez products on the same machine without such issues.
4. Should i uninstall/erase ALL NI related stuff and start over ??

Please advise, not so tech savvy with such stuff, don't want this mistake to affect my legit account etc with NI.......

I actually have not the golden answer, but I would try to do it the logic way....

I would first install the legal ones and register them.
Then install the warez ones and that's it...!!!

Now don't go and try to register any of your warezd stuff in the NI Service Center !!!
That should be clear !!!

 

Yes you are absolutely right......i thought the offline authorize would only pick up the new library!!
Lesson learn't.......

Any ideas before i start over from scratch ??

 

Make sure the warez serials are not on the service center before registering and restore karma go and buy them when you can....

 

So there is no way to make this nightmare go away ?? No files i can delete , erase ???
So whats the cleanest way to uninstalling ALL NI products from my system so i can start totally fresh.

Yes, looking into buying the ones i use. Few months down the road if i use something i buy it, rest gets trashed, i try to run a lean system.

 

Question: If i don't install or try to authorize Sasha Soundlab, will my NI stuff still continue to work or will it get locked down now that Service Center has found warez libraries....

Do i still need to go thru the drill of re-installing everything ?
Anyone with experience on this, please help....

Move any warez prefs from /Library/Preferences to a new folder
Do the same with any found in /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center

Update as normal with Service Center.
Move back when done

Can you confirm that this method works?

If i understand correctly, you must replace all warez in the / Library / Preferences, once the updates done?
