NI products are still in demo mode after using keygen from R2R

    The issue is I did use the xml file. No errors were reported by the keygen either. It said it was successful, I set the files to read only, still demo mode. I repeated this multiple times, with variations of making certain things read only, such as the entire folder vs the individual files, as well as the service center xml, ect. nothing worked. I like to think I'm pretty competent at following directions, or even debugging issues when following directions didn't achieve the correct results, but it just flat out doesn't work for me :dunno:

    R2R give you the official xml, it is the same.

    the only shit with the R2R Kontakt license is breaking the update download. it need a delete, run native access again to download the new version.

    Kontakt 7.5.1 is just out, i checked my generic patcher on it to see what it say.
    it say can't find patern but seems to be ok. i will have a look to the result.

    it seems to rock... exe,vst3,aax are unlocked.

    here is what I just did after running into issues on a fresh computer. first I think I installed some other versions so I uninstalled them with wise uninstaller, then I used the native unistaller thing to deregister every library (not sure if this was necessary) I manually deleted anything with native instruments/access in any of the user areas I could see. double checked the hkey registries Bob Dule has mentioned. just did everything I could to wipe any existence of native off.

    after all that installed 7.5 prepatch, replaced the native access xml in common files with the one provided on the latest 7.5.... and now it works. I'm guessing what's happening to you is what happened to me, you installed various versions trying to get it to work but the uninstaller probably missed some stuff (do to the nature of things)- maybe that'll help. I'm guessing some random stuff left over in a roaming/local whatever folder?

    since the last xml with kontakt 7.5.1 it dont disturb FX the license if Kontakt player license is loaded.
    maybe it is linked to the xml kontakt version tag to actualise.

    I've found in the past that none of the uninstallers get rid of absolutely everything. If I'm having problems, I'll make sure that I manually check all of the registry entries and do a full search for all files from previous installs.

    I'll invariably find a couple of things located in places where they weren't supposed to be. Deleting them manually will often fix my problem.

    (Which is pretty much the same thing as macros mk2 said. But yeah, it's what I do as well.)

    Ok then.. I misunderstood, sorry .. Sounded like you were unable to get the keygen to even run at all. Maybe try Macros mk2's method above for what was done that worked on a fresh install? Barring that I would try wiping the system storage completely with a zero's or one's wipe utility (not just a format) and install win10 21H2, optimize first, and do not connect to internet. Try the keygens on first installs of some NI stuff you want and see if they are working for you.

    I made sure to thoroughly clean after every attempt, deleting anything related to native instruments I could find. This includes program files, app data, public documents, user documents, program data, ect.
    Even went as far as manually deleting registry keys related to native instruments, but I don't think it helped.

    shitty. I'm trying to remember if I installed 7.5, then added the libraries, then replaced the xml file or replace xml then add libraries. not sure if that would matter or not. im on the low end of computer knowledge so that's all i got. :/

    I've tried NI's FX plugins in the past and recently with VR's release. I personally don't have a use for any of them so I'm not missing out on anything. (Not to say they aren't solid plugins)!

    Sorry if this has already been said . TL/DR I'm in a hurry. It's all @bobdule 's fault for releasing the 7.5.1 version :rofl: (thanks a lot sir :wink: :winker:)
    What's sure is you must delete all the ras3 files. Especially after changing hardware.
    Maybe always when changing some NI product version.

    Yes, I did use Revo Uninstaller. The only NI product I have is Kontakt Portable 6.7.1 (vkDanilov).

    one thing I did- I used the kontakt button to add libraries right, but also I clicked the other library one that pops up r2r's kontakt manager and I added my kontakt library there too. that caught at least one that the main kontakt didn't- genesis children's choir. unfortunately I don't know if I did that before too cause I was just clicking a bunch of shit.

    oh ps yeah I don't use NI's FX either, and I usually go in and take out any effects on their kontakt libraries, if I can/it doesn't defeat the purpose. like I want as dry of orchestral stuff as I can get. I think the NI FX are supposed to be decent but basically softube? dunno I'm an elitist I use Nebula only unless it's something outside of that range.

    Users\public\public documents\
    Username\appdata\local\
    Administrator\appdata\local\
    Programdata\
    Program files\common files\native instruments\service center\
    Use the latest NativeAcces.xml from r2r copy it to program files\common files\native instruments\service center\
    Use the keygen register all products done!

    My build is 21h2
    Did you remove all native instruments folders in the folders I indicated

    Just search for native instrument folders in

    Users\public\public documents\native instruments
    Users\current username\documents\native instruments
    Users\current username\appdata\local\native instruments
    Users\administrator\appdata\local\native instruments
    Program files\common files\native instruments\service center\
    Use one of the the latest NativeAcces.xml from r2r release copy it to program files\common files\native instruments\service center\
    Use the keygen register all products done!

    Just search for all maps from native instruments delete them if so you need to reinstall all ni products

    Did all of that but it still doesn't work. Also, I don't have the "Administrator" folder in my "Users" folder for unknown reasons.

    UPDATE: Managed to get it work, here's what I did:
    1. Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall the previous version, make sure to scan and remove all registry keys and folders that were associated with it
    2. Install Supercharger GT from the installer
    3. Go to %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Native Instruments\ , create "Service Center" folder if there isn't one yet
    4. Copy NativeAccess.xml PROVIDED BY R2R to the "Service Center" folder
    5. Run the keygen from R2R
    6. Done

    I appreciate this is an older thread but it seemed closest to an issue I'm having recently.

    I used R2R's latest kontakt 8 release, but have had demo mode issues. I solve this by deleting the Kontakt 8.json from
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products and also copy/pasting xml supplied in R2R release. However, this seems to work for a few hours, but then the problem resurfaces.

    What I've noticed though is on starting up my studio PC for the first time each day that kontakt 8 runs in demo mode. I can fix this by replacing xml (in R2R instructions), deleting the .json file (mentioned above) and running r2r Keygen.
    Is all this because I have Native Access Installed?

    If I uninstall Native Access will this solve the issue (I'm a little reluctant to as I am unsure on the knock-on effect to my legit libs/apps)
    . Or is the K8 starting in demo mode due to something else?
