NI Polyplex R2R - de-registered after installing Maschine [solved]

    I have NI Polyplex (Reaktor) 1.1.0.3.HYBRID-R2R installed which used to run fine.

    Yesterday, i installed Maschine.2.12.0-R2R and since then Polyplex has de-registered and only runs in demo mode.

    I re-ran the reg tool for Polyplex that comes with Reaktor, but it no longer works (even though it says "successfully registered").

    I've uninstalled Maschine, re-installed Polyplex... but that hasn't helped.

    Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?

    I solved my problem!

    the version of Reaktor i have is: Native.Instruments.Reaktor.6.v6.4.3.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R

    what I did is: completely uninstall polyplex, then re-install and run reg tool

    THEN, replaced the Native Access.xml in program files/common files/native instruments/service center
    with the native access.xml (2021-09-17) provided in the R2R folder in my R2R Reaktor installer

    -- I can only assume that installing maschine changed the native access.xml so that Polyplex de-registered.

    Hope this helps anyone who finds themselves in the same predicament :)

    yeah... I've made a note in my Polyplex folder for the next time I wonder WTF is going on!
