2.x is a big update for Maschine... Everything is well organized besides the 1.x versions.

I like the interface, mixer capability, synth drum option and integration with other NI stuff.

I don't see a big difference in CPU usage.

I allways love NI stuff, they know knowledge

But,

1) I can't find quantize option in pattern editor (as I understand, it's available only on hardware controler, or I miss something)

2) 3rd party plugins will be scanned always on startup, 1.x version has parametar "scan on startup"...

 

yea i hate that scan it takes forever just to start up maschine 2 ive looked everywhere no work around for it i usually use it inside studio one as for quantize i thought i remember seeing it on the left side of the pattern editor i might be wrong i use the mk2 with it and quantize with the controller

 

After long playing with maschine 2.0 I got CPU problems from time to time. Audio output in moments gets frozen, and then go back correctly.

I have every minute or two some freeze ?!??? Anyone have this behaviour ?

... and I try with 64bit standalone, it's way better and there is no crackling on same set from 32bit

Does anyone notes a big HDD spike when browse library in prelisten mode or not, whatever... just every 2 minutes a got a sound freezing ?!???

I believe I'm solved the hdd spike problem right now because I have never get it again!

I do this: delete all old libraries (vintage heat, etc...) libs for M1 and stays only with M2 factory and few new from M2. After that, spikes gone, I don't know why, but it's gone
