I have Komplete 8 loaded and want to update without downloading the whole Komplete 9, especially since 10 is already on the shelves.

I D/L some of the updates but they say they are for the individual releases and won't work. Tried to install the individual release over Kontakt and that wouldn't work. Is there some way to tell NI that you have individual packages loaded instead of the Komplete package? Is there any easy way to get up to date?

You have to count Komplete as ONE product unfortunately it has ONE activation key.
If You own ( or not ) any bundle during installation You CAN pick what You want to install.

As for downloading part... I know for sure when You buy Komplete 8 Ultimate it comes with drive so i am assuming regular rev had no DVD's even?

If that's the case You would need NI to generate separate Activation Key for each product (You have activation key for ENTIRE BUNDLE) You wish to download and install... i really don't see that happening.

Personally i would download entire bundle and get myself 50 euro 2,5 inch HDD and leave it there whenever I need it, but that's just me.
