Nexus is not activated after I deleted some files

    I have an intel Mac with big sur. I have nexus 3 (nexus 3.3.9) working for months without issues. Recently I had to delete some files and I deleted something from nexus in the shared folder where it was located. I redownloaded the same file and another version and copied it to the the shared folder and it still asks to be activated when I open it. I have no idea and would appreciate any advice
