Can Nexus 3 legit be installed alongside Nexus 2 cracked ?

I have nexus 2 cracked with lots of expansions and custom 3rd party sounds.

Planning to buy nexus 3,
but I want old projects to work that I used nexus 2 in with the expansions.

It would probably work. It works with older versions, as I have 2.2.1 cracked, legit 2.4 for some expansions from a friend, and legit 2.7 for the new stuff.

All done by renaming the DLLs and using JBridge on the cracked one.

I have
NexusOld.dll (2.4)
Nexus.64.dll (cracked 2.2.1)
Nexus.dll (2.7)

they all get picked up separtely.

Then I have renamed the expansions as

XP1.... for 2.2.1
XP2.... for 2.4
XP3.... for 2.7

this way I know which I load in which version.
All use the same single factory content folder.

But I think Nexus 3 overwrites the factory content with all different stuff which is not compatible with 2.x. As far as I remember...

they are diffenent programs and should be ok, nexus 3 is completely new so try it

I’ve been “trying before buying” nexus 2 for a while now, I think it’s a must have vsti for me, time to support the developer and buy it.
But I’ll keep the old cracked one just in case I’ll need to revisit the old projects

You know that within NEXUS 3 you get only ONE MONTH VALID SUBSCRIPTION LICENSE who must be always renewed online?
If (howsoever) reFX notice that you have their cracked stuff, they ban you as customer & you lost all your legal owned reFX stuff.
And because all the reFX stuff are now Cloud-based, I suggest that they have quite good access to your computer HDD for e.g. "pirated stuff researching purpose".
This fraudulent kind of licensing from NEXUS 3 was preventing me to make an update to version 3.
If I pay for perpetual license, I want perpetual license, simple as that.
Today the reFX company screw their customer...

i did worked nexus 2.2.0 crack with legit nexus 3 in my last project without issues
just add them on different folders and rename the dlls as mentioned by boogiewoogie post

and that only because i use my costume presets and other 3rd party presets that refx refuses to add them to nexus 3
and as long as you use nexus 3 in your project before opening nexus 2
then it wont ask for the 30 days validation

and i can give you good advice here if you wanna buy nexus 3 ,
now is the best time while the discount offer is going on
just get the ''starter pack 199$'' which include only the plugin ,dont get the other lame offers (value with 10 latest expansions)
and they are horrible ones or dont buy the complete pack (no one is crazy to buy all 150 expansions in one take for 2000 $ )

just get the expansions that you can really use or satisfy your taste
(i do have 88 expansions without the trap /hiphop and related urbans sounds /tropical stuff/house and some of those are the new ones that have expensive price over 50$ on Christmas times )

if you got the starter one successfully, go to expansion page and
get those cheap expansions/ early expansions first and you dont have to buty them all
there always be next year offer and they are the same deal and discount specially from refx

(each expansion is 20% but will get them cheaper when you add 4 more expansions to the cart
the discount will go up ) and make sure you dont pass your budget /limit

you can get the the cheap ones first using the discound offer which every time you add expansion the discount goes up
up to 40% (and you should stop right there and come back next year to get the other expansions
and not all their new expansions are great ,get the early expansions first and be selective
and that of course if no other companies has better deals then you can try nexus
(if you go to lethalaudio they have better deal with their rompler lethal plus 12 plugins for 99%
just use the code XMASS99 after opening the account
and next year you can buy the other 12 expansions to get them complete)

That's simple not true, NEXUS 3 License requirement are to being online at least once a month.

jusxt just dont bother with nexus 3 its crap and a total ripp off get vengence avanger instead.

 

Vengeance Avenger license are almost the same scam like that from NEXUS 3.
You have to pay a perpetual license, but you get 90 days valid subscription license.
You are depend of being online & existing company (out of business) to renew the license any 90 days.

 

im not paid by refx/and im not employee of the month for refx to hype the plugin
everything is up to him to decide if he buys nexus 3 or not
you did gave your own advice and i gave him mine,its simple as that

i did advise him if he decide to pick nexus 3 depends on his own budget ,
i didnt force him to buy ,and yes theres avenger too he might take a look at
but since i have nexus 2 (team air) and legit nexus 3 working side by side
i mentioned that aswell and im sure others can work both versions too
and members mentioned those too up few posts
and here i just showed him that if he want to get legit one first start with starter deal
and then get necessary expansions that hes likes(and screw the rest)
that if he decide to get nexus 3

so with that being said ,i dont care about refx they can go to hell for all i care with their stupid expensive expansions.and i hope they can crack it
so haters can download it for free ,does that make you happy ?im fine with that to
