I'm using my legit nexus 2 but I share expansion banks with colleagues, does anyone know if you can still share expansion banks with the updated 2.5 version? Or does it license the banks on your dongle?

 

I think that's why they updated it. You can't share license keys anymore. Everything you've purchased is on one master file.

 

it may be true but never say never ...i just hope that there are people out there that has the balls to try to do it

@peter, yes you can untill you update to 2.5 . but you can not use the cracked air expansions, because they usually don't have the license file included. so you can share with friends that can send you the expansion + license zip file.

for anyone interested, my friend contacted refx about this, from 2.5 you can only use what is in your refx account, as you get 1 license for everything, expansions + software

So if I get a legit nexus 2 for mac but don't update to 2.5 I could use cracked expansions online?
The AIR are only for nexus 2.5?

 

WRONG!! The AiR release is 2.2 and any sound banks released are also for that

 

Im on Mac with Nexus 2. Latest Update is Version 2.5.9.
The Master File contains all expansions you have bought. If you buy a new one you have to download a new updated Master File.
