    RL, your Mercy remix changed my world. Few questions about production;

    -Favorite or most used synth plugin? - I DONT USE EM

    -Do you use samples for 808s or make em yourself? - USUAALLY MAKE THEM BUT SOMETIMES SAMPLE

    -Where do you, in general, like to pan different instruments/FX? - WHAT

    -Thoughts on Abletons stock plugins vs external ones? - I USE ONLY STOCK THINGS IN ABLETON

    -What do you use for your brass sounds? - BRASS SOUNDS

    -Is that dope ass new shirt only available on tour or will you sell it online afterwords? - YES

    -I read another question and you said you don't use any VSTs... whaa.. how? - REASON DOESNT HAVE ANY VSTS

    Why don't you listen to some Kate Bush and make your own track? Bypass The Weeknd/RL Grimes and go straight to the source, and then add some of your own flavor :wink:

  4. Absolutely for me the hardest thing is wedding "ĺiving sound" with those sounds created electronically or as you mention, samples, presumably from sample packs or from other sources. This holds true for traditional mixing, for example trying to add samples to say the above and incredible recording supplied to us by dbmusik where the level of engineering and mic placement is at the apex of the field. Mixing live and sampled material is a different genre entirely and has it's own challenges not found in the traditional sense, but at the end of the day both must deliver the sonic goods.

    Well, Zenarcist

    Thank you for taking your time to reply :)

    I've pretty much researched all this before posting this questions. Thank you so much.
