I can't be the only one thinking it.. Meatspin v2 in 4k ft ROLI and a Shure SM58 attached to a suction cup torso.

 

Hopefully it can recognize finger digits. Been looking for something to replace my UltraLeap controller.

Sure they will have a lot of time but not so much money to buy ROLI.

 

So, my problem with these air gesture controllers is that if you think about a non-tempered instrument, its musician has to practice for years to be able to comfortably play in tune. These air gadgets are not consistent, I mean the person will never be able to achieve precisely what he/she meant to play which is key for professional performance. You shouldn't just count on the feedback to correct the pitch afterwards. Sliding back all the time, it can get annoying quickly.
I can see this product being used by DJs but I wouldn't really consider them as musicians in that role (pun not intended).
It's more about show performance with magician-like delusional gimmicks in front of an altered (high on) crowd.

 

If the Roli Airwave looked liked TZZSMK's avatar, I would buy one yesterday!
One controller for pitch and the other for volume.
So tactile.

I see it more as a DJ tool than a keyboard controller.
Hands must play, not wave in the air.
I think Seabord is still the most proficient controller ever.

 

so you can use this to do aftertouch or 'after tremolo' for keys without it?
