Yo @droplet ... This one is pretty cool... Sounds like an abstract ambient track... Like a background score to a dystopian scene... :like:

we live in dystopia. so I guess for me it's normal.

Thanks a lot for your encouragement.

Nice work! I wish I could be at your level.. While I learned music for about a year from a traditional pro, who toured with his band in the 70's and got famous & successful, I unfortunately had to turn my career into doing visual creative arts.
So you are getting a LISTENERs feedback.
I mainly use music to "paint music", while listening to it. In the middle-ages it was customary for music teachers that they also taught painting. Both creative arts use the same brain areas.
So your track is okay for a background / ambient / support: imagine your musician friend walking into your studio and hears your track. While your track is playing he/she immediately sits down to the synthesizer and begins playing a melody selecting a really nice patch. So you need a key/lead synth sound to create a melody here. This track resembles those automated workstations, like what a Yamaha Tyros gives you. On that one you can start a rumba or salsa basic track and you have to join in on the keyboard to play a melody.

Unfortunately, melodies are the hardest to create in music, as a pleasant melody it has to tell a story:
Junkie XL uses this same method, but his melodies are near-junk, only good for background tracks, but he creates amazing tutorials and hardware demo videos. So here is an excellent one:

    OR
Demonstrated real-time, by a pro, jumping right into what matters, what I wanted to convey:

thanks a lot for you comments and your time.

It took me about 5 hours to get the track where it is...too soon really to post it, but I thought I'd take the chance as all my stuff are works in progress.
If you want just keep working on your music and studying. it's a natural process. thanks to your and the others comments I'm lucky enough to get your ideas on how to improve.

Great one the only thing i can say is make the snare sit better in the mix. to me it sounds isolated i don't know why, mabe add a bit of reverb ?
and cut that base a bit short right at the end
other than those little things it is all good
    best of luck
