Man i bet though's 10'' KRK's have nice bass i have the 8'' and they have nice bass response i dont think you would even need a SUB with though's 10'' KRK's Nice

 

I think a sub would help, because the KRKs could probably use a more powerful amp, but I am pleased for the price. Then again, the room I am using is kind of large. Stands make a big difference. But the real fun is that tube pre-amp with a digital out. By playing with the impedence and the amount of tube drive, you can coax whole new qualities out of old mics, and it gives me access to two more channels on my interface, if I use it that way. Love that bass drum mic. Sennheiser E series mics that I have tried are an impressive product. Now if I could just afford an MD441U for my snare....plus, they just look cool.
