    Will y'all give this a listen and tell me your thoughts?

    I assume this would be melodic techno. I didn't format it for a dance floor, although it is EDM-ish. The main breakdown has a build that doesn't lead to a ton of energy, and that's one of my concerns. Only one venue in my area plays anything remotely resembling "underground", the rest are all high energy top-40, and I have no one locally that I can bounce ideas off of.

    Thank you bunches for giving it a listen!

    EDIT: This is a new one, addresses the main issue... Thanks for re-listening

    well yeah, if you have a little body ass 11 year old jumping off the diving board at the pool party; people are like, "aww be careful", where with a 350lbs mf, people are bracing for impact and getting the fuck out of the way lol, cause theyre gonna feel that. a drop doesnt really makes sense in this context because its not physical enough, its little body; its not moving nothing

    i like the detroit techno vibe it has and a lot of the textures, but yeah, before any obesity should be considered, titties should be bouncing from the pumps if that makes sense. then consider sumo shit, because otherwise its just people being glad the kid didnt hurt themselves and ruin the party

    I think it's pretty good. Nice sounds, cool vibe and the track doesn't get boring, because it keeps moving.

    Really dig the vibe, feel like you are really made for deep/hypnotic/raw trance or even progressive, all your ideas really fly there and somehow don't end up working that much in melodic techno context or heavily influenced by it.

    Give Rick Pier O'Neil a go. :thumbsup:

    @Grape Ape
    I've updated the track and I gave it some weight after the drop. Will you give it another listen and tell me what you think?

    @Zoketula
    Thank you! I've updated the track above if you'd listen again.

    I liked it. About the "weight" of the drop, the first time you introduce the midrange synth with the distortion style effect; I think you might want to take a dB or two out of it. It's a little jarring, or something like that. It plays a bunch of other times, but that one is the only where I got that from it.

    Sounds good.

    Hm, the ideas are interesting, but the track is moving from dub techno to melodic techno and ends up somewhere in between. Maybe you could create a new genre, dub melodic techno? :D Either way, not a bad track, personally I would loved it to be more DUB then melodic, just because I like it more.

    Sounds really good!

    Pfff, damn, this is kinda fresh, i mean to add on @TimJackman, you could really go for mixed type track but maybe make it longer, like, doubling the last 1:30 and smoothing it out so the feel has time to develop rather than remind us of different styles in a short period of time if i may say.
    It stays in between the genres and somehow does not remind me of any other track, great!

    Very good! Needs balancing of the things you introduce and play along with the tune (imho).
    Make them more subtle.

    A really nice techno production @krameri :wink: :bow:
    * Mixing wise the synth stab that comes in @1:04 is a bit loud, all other elements are well balanced.
    The classic organ sound gives the track a nice melodic vibe & brings good nostalgia
    Nice outro too, great that you gave attention to that part too!
    Thanks for sharing & all the best! :wink: :bow:

    Exquisite trance man. Very well done. Nice adaptation of the all-too-common snare/kick build-up. Much tastier that way I think !
