    Hey there!

The rhythm beds are very well thought out and energetic and full of variety and movement! I can't fault you there although I'm just listening on my Android phone at the moment.

What is clear is that your sister's vocal is not.. clear.

You need to sit her above the mix by about 8 to 10% more, but more important than that, compress her vocals significantly.

There are two approaches that I would think through, the first being using something like Trackspacer vst to force the instrumental music out of the way and let her vocal occupy the frequencies it needs to. If you send all the instrumentation to one bus and all of her vocal to another, you can put track spacer on the instrument bus and feed a send from the vocal bus to it (the instruments bus). On my daw, if I solo the instruments bus I can actually hear how much effect the vocal is having on that channel and the whole mix sans the vocal.

The second approach is to rethink the vocal compression with a different Channel strip. I've had some great results with Xvox by Nuro audio.

I'll listen again on my equator speakers and studio headphones if you want and evaluate the instrumental balance and rhythm beds.

I don't tend to comment on musical stylings that are not interesting to me but this kind of music is interesting in that it involves a lot of different synths and sonic panoramas, similar to Owl City who I love!

Yeah, heading to bed but had a good poke at this.

Acceptable levels for EDM bass, but if 'twere me, I'd pull it back on the low end a bit (used Tonal Balance for guide to determine this as well as my ears).

The vocal - yeah, as long as you compress it far more for the entirety of the performance, you needn't push it up more than 5% then. You really need to hand draw some pitch correction in places ... a LOT of places. Melodyne is my go to tool, but I slice the ends and beginnings of any longer sung notes and ONLY adjust the middle 'sausage' (sounds more natural, if natural is what you're going for).

    Best to ya!

(useless comment, nobody's here to read it...)

(When you grow older, you realize that the only things remaining at your sides, your only real companions, are unforgiving shades of silence, rocked by constant waves of oblivion, sometimes crossed by ghosts from the past...)

I really like the song, and she has a great voice, top notch vocalist.

Would you consider going in this direction, i exaggerated the loudness of the vocal and left the low end to pump, so dont consider this as anything but a direction toward energy and loudness.

I think you got a really great opportunity to make some pretty dope songs!
