If you want to say something about the price, you could use specific arguments instead of this kind of language that does not explain anything.

Yep, you are right, it is not just the 3 osc x8 or the build quality may i add. Even if you could stack them up you would need 3 times as much because with the One you get 3 fully playable -no compromises- 8 voice parts. So the number jumps to a ridiculous 24x Behringer Model D's that would cost about as much as the 16 voice Moog One which actually translates to a (16x3) 48 voice monster. And all in one package. I mean wtf, imagine the cables & power outlets you 'd need for 24 Model D's + a mixer just for them lol. Meh...
Now that it has sunk in me i guess the Moog One is cheap for what it offers, the ultimate Moog ever.

Yes! This is definitely the Ultimate Moog. Moog knew what we would and spend the bucks for!

Well, nobody uses that on real productions...
If you're a real producer you have no money for that sh*t, if you are a well-paid producer you basically hire the real producer to make your job...
So, that's just a piece of furniture...

Frank Zappa would have bought it, and he was a real producer. It would have sat right next to his other piece of furniture, The Synclavier.:bleh:

Bt nothing like this, so not really an alternative option.

For real. Dangerous Dave's your friend maybe?
I would love to hear a "real production" example from the ones you mention, because as it is, everybody who is somebody uses or has used at least one Moog synth both in the studio and live...

I take your point, but my point is there are better options out there for poly synths, and Moog is only really interesting for monophonic sounds IMO. So maybe this kind of money is better spent elsewhere?

Besides all of this, Bob Moog passed in 2005, so this new one is a Moog in brand name only.
