I was the first to buy this lol. It wasn't on my account when I logged in, when I refreshed it appeared. I had a voucher for $75 plus I already had 6 products that discounted me for $99, ended up buying for $25. Yet to try it out :)

Same same, got it for $25. Good sound, integrated FX from various PA stuff (Maag, Blue Chorus, rooMS, ...). Too bad the VCF is only a 4-pole LPF, would be nice to have BP/HP/BR, even though these are not in the original HW..

This along with Oberhausen, seems like Uhe finally has some real competition in the Analog Emu zone. Trying the demo, and it sounds nice, but $299 retail is pretty steep. Diva has more features, and is over $100 less. They should follow Uhe's pricing IMO. I'm liking this. Great fun making a patch with it

Edit: There's a preset called Uranus ...And it's quite gassy :hahaha:

Plugin Alliance prices rely heavily on "customer loyalty" and/or subscription model for bundles. e.g., because I own Oberhausen, the price for me is 99$.. then there is always a voucher (or more) laying in your mail, the price drops to 75$ or, as you can see in the case of Cube Sixty-Three, to a ridiculous 25$.

What I want to say is, if you pay more than 100$ - but usually 25$ or less per plugin, you are doing something wrong. It's just to give you the feeling (Waves style) - "I got something 350$ for 25$". This year esp there is almost a giveaway of their IMO HQ plugins.

I really hate anything "subscription", but in the case of PA I may even consider it.. must deal with some math yet, but they give you immediately a voucher that would buy you back everything you need - so you really "own it" at the end..

I totally agree with your "if you pay more than 100$ - but usually 25$ or less per plugin, you are doing something wrong." philosophy. 99 bucks seems fair for sure, and now the price makes sense. Hmmm, maybe I will subscribe. I was crazy enough to do it for Roland Cloud in the beginning, and Plugin Alliance really has my attention using Brainworx Audio Tolerance Modeling Technology lately. :)

Those monthly vouchers are based on what you purchased not on subscription. The only voucher you get at the end of the year is if you subscribed to a yearly subscription ($250). I've made up to 75 Plugin Alliance purchase in the last 8-9 weeks and I've been getting $75, $100 voucher monthly and some personalized offers weekly.

So you spend 2-3K with PA on 75 plugins in the last 2 month? If youre such a PA fan then the smarter move would have been to go subscription. You wouldve gotten like 10 yrs of subscription and 2.5K of vouchers to spend on their pkugs during sale for that. Plus they had gheir mega bundle on sale recently for 199 or even 149 per year (as long as you didnt quit the price would have stayed that low each year) plus 250$ voucher each year too. So you would gotten about 15yrs mega bundle AND $2.5K in vouchers.
But to each their own i guess.

This sounds killer. The hardware is $15,999 so the vsti might be the way to go unless I hit the Lotto.

Right, so you're advising me I stay on subscription for the next 15 years like someone with Aids living on prescription drugs? I don't do subscription!

(That's the whole point, owning what you use). These things are not predictable with the way PA changes their mind everyday on pricing.

I'm happy with my decision. I own every plugin I use. Subscriptions is like being of crack for the next 15 years or the rest of your life.

So i bought this yesterday for 13 euros.
I will say this synth is right up there with the best like the synapse legend. I prefer it over Diva as well.
It sounds like an analog synth, i know what analog sounds like.
It can growl, it can be unpredictable, fat, punchy, warm, anything you want it to be, the bass sounds you can get with this. Crazy.
    This synth is pure inspiration.
To own this for such a ridiculous price is insanity.
