Hello all,

I recently purchased a Machine MK2 and have struggled finding cracked Machine 2.0 software for OS X (Mavericks) both on Audioz and around the net. It seems a lot of the links people have referred to on Audioz have either been deleted or the path has been renamed/redirected. I think several people are struggling to find the solution to this problem so I'd greatly appreciate anyone who can send me (us) down the right path! The only Maschine software I have on my computer is v2.2.0 and several expansions. I'm not dying to have the factory content on my hard drive, but if that's required for me to utilize the Maschine hardware then it's fine. Even if you guys don't have proper links, I'd appreciate info about the order in which I need to install things to get it working properly. Thanks!

Just to update this thread, I got the 2.2 standalone app and vst running. But now my issue is that none of my NI instruments or effects load in assigned slots. Is there a quick fix for this or am I most likely going to have to uninstall and reinstall?

 

Be more specific please. I am an expert Maschine User. Uninstalling and Reinstalling won't fix anything.

Add the path to your Plugins to the Pres. HD >> Library >> Audio >> Plugins >> VST. The AU Plugins Path is somewhat fixed into Maschine 2 and must not be added extra (but it can't also be removed, what pisses me off still… but that's another story) The Maschine Library Presets use Massive and Reaktor VSTs. I guess that's due to the fact that they can be used on PC and Mac as well.

If effects are missing, check if they are 32 Bit only. If the are, quit Maschine, highlight the Maschine App in Finder, hit Command + i, set a checkmark on "Run in 32 Bit" and restart Maschine 2 and see if that fixes it. If not than I can't help you ;)

Besides that you need to manually add all other Maschine Expansions an what not manually to the library IF there is not a .plist File present for it in HD >> Library >> Preferences. That's the case when you clean install OSX and your Instruments/Samples are located on a 2nd HD.

If there are just sounds missing from Groups of Maschine Exoansions or something, just link one sound of the patch and Maschine 2 usually finds the rest.

 

Thank you! I can now run plugins and effects *yes* but now my hangup is that I can't load presets for instruments or effects. Saved up and got a Maschine MK2. This is no longer an issue.

Since you are a knowledgeable expert, hopefully you can explain how to use a cracked Maschine in Pro Tools. I have read and read about installing Maschine 2. I did not purchase the hardware, but I liked the software demonstration one of my brothers showed me. So, to keep this short but poignant...

--> Mac 10.8.5, uploaded original NI Maschine 2.0, updated with 2.2 Cracks. Standalone works fine, so I'm sure the install was fine. I think from reading that the current problem is that the AAX is cracked, but my Pro Tools 10.3.6 is legit. So, Maschine runs in Demo Mode. There was a Maschine 2 VST, FX VST, and a Component file for my Plug-Ins folders. They all go unrecognized. My goal is to run a cracked Maschine 2.2 (or 2.1) in Pro Tools. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope...

I understand that this could possibly just be the way it is. But, any help - even passing this issue on to another to get another perspective - is all appreciated. I approach things with a win/win mindset. Let's make it work.

Hey, did you figure out how to load the presets? I still can't with Massive and Reaktor (Prism, Razor, etc.). It's very bothersome. I have the Factory Library, and my paths seem to all be correct. I can load Massive first & then configure it to do what I want. But, I'd love to be able to handle loading presets from my Maschine hardware.
