With the latest release it seems that NI realise they have nothng to offer anymore. I've gone from owning V1 to now simply being tethered to Kontakt only because I have so many songs that use their libraries.

 

It's not like we've not had releases that've been mostly filler. Safe to skip those, they'll be there if you decide to upgrade next time around, or the one after that.

Finish the old tunes (or keep older Komplete around and don't finish them), don't use it in new tunes.

For me there's not much stuff in this either, apart from the new Kontakt, but I'll see how that turns before even considering an upgrade.

 

This should be well received.

 

I personnaly do not care about Reaktor being discontinued as I always disliked its environement but I'm interrested in what will happen to Razor.
To my knowledge it only runs in Reaktor wich was always unpleasant to me, but if it means that it will be released as a standalone plugin that would be great news.

Native Instruments can make great sounding tools with nice GUIs, I use Raum and Replika XT all the time.
Not that they are innovating in this direction at the moment but Razor still is n°1 in the additive synthesis category to me.

And I don't use it because of Reaktor's bloated environement ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
