    Hi everyone,

I've been a long time lurker here, and I finally jumped in to have your feedback on my mastering and mixing skills before making more tracks.

First of all, I'm french so pardon my english.

I made a 6 tracks EP 2 years ago and was quite satisfied with the result, but for the next EP, I want to get better at mastering/mixing.

It's been almost 1 year that I'm working on a track alongside a new mastering and mixing sound, and I can't judge if it's allright or not...

Here is a teaser from the new track with new sounds :

And here are my previous tracks with the "old" sound :

    Code:

FYI : I use Prodipe monitor speakers and Sony MDR 7506 for headphones monitoring.

Don't go easy on me, please be honest :)

    Thanks in advance,

    Heels Machine.

it needs some hi-end. have you heard the new Com cruise? try to mix/master using one of his tracks maybe will fix it.

ps. com cruise track's is a little light on the low-end so be careful with that.

Thanks, I'm always very carefull with high frequencies because I love them, and I have a tendency to raise them too much on my AV receiver and mp3 player equalizer when I listen to music. So I always fear to put them too high into my mix. :)
