I won't use this. Original waves SSL plugin was very light on the system but this one sucks.

 

Compressor is about what you'd expect, but the eq is nice and quick and the analog/input section is really nice. Better than most ssl plugins trying to offer the "channel strip" sound. Harmonics, but nothing digital in between them, unless you really drive the plugin.

 

solo/mute/pan are not included , that would be the whole point of this, as to only use the daw asa tape machine no?

 

After testing in a few projects, have not returned to it. I get better results with individual plugins from different developers.

The grouping aspect can be replaced using the built-in group & folder functions of most modern DAWs.

Like the Sccheps Omni channel, nice, but.....
