Very cool. Too rich for my blood; but very cool nonetheless.

 

A bit expensive indeed since a Faderport costs only around 150 euros.

 

Way too costly for what it is and the motors seem too stepped if I go by what I heard. It looks alright though.

 

I sourced a m_audio project mix for £120 on ebay. That covers my needs

 

How were you satisfied with it and can it be used only as a daw controller?

 

It intergrates with cubase perfectly, and also gives me 8 inputs + another 8 through adat.

So much gear only has firewire outputs that I have been thinking of getting a card for my PC if that is even possible. Is that possible?

Firewire card for a pc is possible yes.

 

Yes. Get a pci FireWire card.

 

I like how they put a lot of effort into the Asparion unit yet the cable management is just so 1995.
Everyone just "loves" to have 10 cables hanging out from his controller.

 

It won't do well. It is too expensive, and no amount of marketing will be able to talk people into buying this flagellic looking thing.
