There are 2 here for your choosing
I didnt make these, just passing it along.
    Description from the page.....................

    I am using:

    Brightness 100%
    Color Intensity 20%
    Color Hue 219'

First of all these skins originate from the skin Lance uploaded a while ago:
    pureav.deviantart.com/art/Ableā€¦

However the contrast was a bit too strong for me so i decided to make an edit.
It took me over a day trying to figure out how everything works and optimizing the color palette.
Along the way i changed the top bar to a lighter gray and was surprised by how great it looked, then the brighter version happened. I love how that one turned out

Since there aren't enough cool skins to choose from on the web I wanted to post these here for whoever might be interested.

Heres the page they are at

Don't get me wrong, I love skinning and modding themes. I just ADORE the default Live 9 skin.

@subGENRE Is there anyway to have a custom color picker for tracks/clips? Besides the standard choices, I mean. I haven't been able to find one.

I know, Ive seen your screenshots. Thats the first thing I notice, the default skin. LoL
Dont know of a custom color picker. To make it less confusing, I just use the colors on the outside perimeter of the color chooser rectangle

I'd like lower contrast colors that turn the text white. Like that blue and dark grey.

Just noticed the other day when I was checking what version of serum I had, that pureAV did the GUI for it. I guess thats why they always matched so good. They were the same colors.

EDIT: Added these 3 skins in the original post, and now has 40 skins in all in the attached updated zip file.

There's a skin called Elephant out there. It is by far the best skin in my opinion. Very easy on the eyes as it's a dark theme and works superbly!

Here's a bundle of 37 skins I've accumulated over time....

Just unzip and put in C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Resources\Skins on Windows. No idea about Mac sorry!

    38LT.ask
    39LT&A Dark.ask
    40LY&I Light.ask

Here is a couple of screen shots of the Elephant skin that I personally use:

I put in a good 8 hour session last night and there was noticeably less eye strain when I wrapped it up. I've been using the LT skin for a while now, but Im making the switch to this one. It did take a minute for me to get used to the change I hated it at first and wanted to go back, but my eyes are glad I didnt.

Great skin , thanks a lot . Tried a skin editor for Live 7 , was a bug to figure out some changes lol .
Those darker backgrounds are nicer to the eyes after a looong stare

Doooope @subGENRE - this looks like it might be light enough for me to see the piano roll. I'll have to check when I get home

Yes you can see the grid. And the color of the velocities is right, for me.
Those are the 2 issues I usually have with 3rd party skins in ableton, cant see the grid and the velocities are too bright/distracting.

Two skins, dark one based on LT skin, light one based on LLDLICH's edit of LT skin.
    Update: Slighly improved colouring.
Also, these ones have lighter piano rolls (@Eris Locaj) and the light one has actually dark waveform.

    This guy is so talented!

His Sylenth1 skin is now officially used by Lennar Digital on v3 and I think this works on the Xfer Serum Gui also played a huge role on the synth's popularity.

    Super talented!
